If this is as it appears to imply, as in the manager has the final word on transfers, then who exactly sanctioned the deal for Bauer? Clearly the closing stages of these so called processes have far more “cogs” than just the manager saying yay or nay.

This season has been absolutely dire in so many ways for our football club. For the chairman to give these sort of statements to supporters at this stage of the season is beyond belief. The continued employment of Lambert and Cartwright is baffling. What next from our chairman? Greater powers for Scholes? A new contract for Johnson? We'll soon be out of the Championship with these people in charge. I think we all know in which direction!!!

Strange timing. Why has he come out now rather than waiting until end of the season? He's also pretty much accepted relegation and told us all so.
Arnie, you were right. No ambition.

Coates has just gone and made it all 10 times worse, whatever chance he had of the fans holding off until next season and waiting to see what happens has just disappeared completely. Yeah, very much so. Palace post-match could be quite interesting now.

Well he makes himself look a bit of a fool either way. He's either telling porkies, or, if he's telling the truth, then why did he keep him on last summer when he'd just watched him waste a ton of money on Bojan, Imbula and Berahino? I'm stretching but maybe at that stage they still thought a couple of them would still come good? Whichever way it is spun though, it makes him (Coates) look at least a bit foolish. I think he's trying to be clever, whilst in reality, actually appearing to be the complete opposite.

So, can we get that banner out after all? We 100% need to We need to stop being an apathetic bunch of happy clapping seals and let the club and board know exactly how we feel, not some half arsed boos at full time. A hellish cauldron We are being taken for absolute mugs! Stop talking and start getting your house in order, you're becoming tedious

So the process involves Cartwright putting some shit and unsuitable players in front of the manager in some mental fucking game of jeopordy and we just hope the manager makes the right decisions?
Have I understood him right?

This is why I held fire on the early bird offer. Oh well, looks like Macc Town have got another fan for next season. Only 20 minutes on the train and plenty of decent pubs. Stoke is Stoke support your team through thick and thin, one less wanker at the games. Simple is as simple does 🤣

His head has gone after reading them comments, he's not learn anything over the last 2 season and clearly should not be running any football club. The weeks are just getting worse and going into next season with Paul Lambert in charge the worse is to come. Horrible 24hrs in the history of our Football club.
Fucking shame on you!

You think hounding the owner and giving him stick will help convince 'the family's to try do what he said in the article, which is to get us straight back up? They're more likely to convince him to say bollocks to it, and then what, sell a club in the championship? The best thing we can do in my opinion is see how the summer pans out. This will tell us if they're serious about us going straight back up.

Cartwright has to go for me, terrible in the transfer market has cost us and lambert has had to work with no striker.

So the recruitment process is OK, but the judgement has been poor. Then it isn't just about Mark Hughes, what about the 'judgement' of those who were presenting players for his approval ? Surely they must go. Read it again, mate, the recruitment team give the manager a lot of info and it's down to him. Classic blame the bloke who isn't here! I think that we are saying the same thing matey. How did shit players make the 'shortlist' in the first instance. The recruitment team are just as culpable as Hughes.

Next season is going to be fucking painful. This Squad is not good enough for the Championship and I don't see PC offering anywhere near enough transfer funds to mount a top half finish. This has got Sunderland written all over it. Zip up your man suits people it's going to be rough ride.

Yeah, very much so. Palace post-match could be quite interesting now. I think the worst thing about all this, is that he's actually goading the supporters. If we get relegated on Saturday, then to all intent and purposes he's actually challenging the supporters to come out and call for Lambert's head at the final two matches. It really is scandalous what has done here and so completely unnecessary.

After the comments from Mr Coates it’s time the fans made their voices heard and demonstrate for whole scale changes at the club. If we allow it to continue who knows where we will end up...

He said pulis was safe and he wasn't. He said hughes was safe and he wasnt. Hes saying cartwright and lambert are safe and i suspect that they are anything but that.

No mention of Scholes?
That's interesting. I was at the ground on Thursday pm sorting out some tickets and Scholes was packing cardboard boxes into his car.
Could be anything I suppose...

So we fumble around in the lower divisions for the next 10 years do we, I for one want a team and club to be proud of, which will invest in players as and when required ...in fact the total opposite of what’s has happened recently.

So we sack the board, who pays the wages and who runs the club, when you make statements like this you need to back it up with alternatives.

“ The Process” over a 4 1/2 year period saw these striker judgement failures;
Diouf - Free Berahino - FA drugs ban Bony - Loan (another well motivated professional) Gudietti - Not sure what comment to make
Apologies if I’ve missed any gems.
Its all about “judgement and I can’t see what all the fuss is about”

That's it, then. Let's all go to work tomorrow and be absolutely wank at whatever we do. Carry on that wankness for years. See if we keep our jobs. I did that for 12 years in the RAF and was pissed for most of it. It can work! So to recap it's all Hughesies fault? Was just thinking I'm a civil servant (actually a public servant but same sort of thing) it might be worth a go. But then I remember a thing called pride

The Coates family has invested in excess of £100m into the Club.
Mistakes have been made by them ( it would probably be better if they acknowledged it ).
They are hurting as much as us .
If we are stupid enough to alienate the Coates family god knows where we will end up !
