Coming up, another 'excellent performance' blighted by missed chances and decisions that go against us. Cannae fault the effort.
West Ham 2 Stoke 1.
Goals by Arnautovic, Hernandez - Diouf for Stoke.

West Ham 3-0 Stoke.
Keep it tight for 60 mins and we will have a defensive error to let the first in. And then will collapse throwing players forward to get back on level terms.

A must win game, that Lambert will go with a MUST NOT LOSE attitude.
Unless Shaqiri scores a blinder from 30 yards I doubt we will get many chances up top.
I predict a completely useless 0 - 0

Even if we played like Barca and have 85% possession,we still wont score,so the best we can hope for is a 0-0,which is no good at all in helping us avoid the drop.

We have been truly dreadful recently. Lambert has done nothing to reverse our fortunes, and our 2-1 loss at home to Spurs last weekend extends our winless streak to nine games in the league.
2-0 😞

West Bromwich showed last night that anything is possible by beating Man Utd on their own territory. While there is still hope I believe EVERY Stoke fan on here is still hoping no matter what crap they write and spout. Until it is mathematically impossible every Stoke fan will be hoping. Can Stoke win three games before the end of the season. Improbable but not impossible!

I think that tonight is the fork in the road. Anything less than a convincing win and its the Championship for us. Go there and come away with 3 points and a great performance then the great escape is on. I believe that we can still get out of this given the performances against Asre and Spuds and the run ins that other teams have.
Unlikely? Yes Impossible? No
GGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRNNNNN STOKE!!!

I feel strangely not bothered by tonight's game. Almost as if it's just a bit of a pointless (no pun intended) exercise on our way to going down.
Like many others I thought we might struggle this season which is why I put a bet on us at the start. I was even more convinced when we lost to Coventry, so all this seems like the final knockings of a predictable demise.
Sorry to be so doom and gloom, but I'll go for 2-0 WHU. Our standard 2 goals conceded per game, and none scored.

West Ham 3 Stoke 0. We miss early chances, Marko scores at least once and we finish with ten men. Goodnight Vienna.

Our goal difference will be the worst in the league at the end of the season, that’s not in doubt.
But a win tonight will get us to 30 points, leapfrog Hughes and then we go into a run of winnable games.
If we can win, and win well - then it could lift us for a strong end to the season. Of course we need other results to go our way - but we can at least will our lads to do their bit, which they’re capable of doing. We need players like Shawcross, Allen, Shaq, Jack to step up.
Come on Stoke, I’m not even at the ground yet and I’m knackered thinking about tonight - we need this win more than ever. Don’t let us down.

Feign illness and stay and watch it from your sick bed alone at home - you can always pull the covers over your head if it all gets a bit too much. One gloating Hammer is hard work, but three...... Me? I will lock my office door and suffer alone watching a stop/start stream.

Sure we were 3-0 down at Upton at half time early ‘70’s and ended up winning 3-4

Being pretty much resigned to our fate somehow makes it easier.
