With Choupo out and Jese in another Time Zone, we have no options out wide. Ramadan really needs to show more than he has. Actually putting a cross in or trying the odd shot would be a great start. With lack of options on the wings I would go with wing backs staffylidis and bauer and then employ shaqiri in the number 10 role with Allen and Ndiaye behind shaq with Campbell and diouf up front.

I am willing to admit that failure to win on Monday will almost certainly mean that we won't finish in the top half.

That this thread is on page 6 three days before the match sums up the importance to Stoke and I have to agree with the view that lose Monday makes staying up improbable – although not impossible.
For West Ham meeting you from lofty 15th with one of the worst defences in the league should give you hope and given WHU’s flakey home form, it’s my expectation that whoever wins will be by the odd goal. If WHU win we should be safe though.
I guess Lambert will wind up the troops for one last hurrah but I get the feeling we’ll be up for this and Arnie (who I think hates Hughes not Stoke) in form will see us though (hopefully). He's got to be worth £40m now btw.
Tough game for us and I’ll be there. Last time I went with my boy to watch us v Stoke at the Boleyn, Pennant stuck in that free kick at the death to win it. Bastard. We were shit though.
I have some sympathy watching the mood on this board ebb and flow etc..and it’s been no different for WHU this season. In truth it’s pretty criminal that established PL clubs including WBA, Stoke, Southampton, WHU, Swansea are all in the mix after regular stability but the PL doesn’t take prisoners and the table don’t lie.
At least Hughes is on form.

We have an outside chance of a great night, being right back in it and kickstarting the best end to to season we've for a long time.
Even at this stage, staying up is going to be a lot easier than getting up.

All the forecasts require all the other clubs to lose every match........it ain't going to happen is it?

Here's hoping for a surprising away win.

Your safe now even though you have had a tough season as for us it could be a long time before we meet again & serious questions have to be asked as to how this was allowed to happen. People blame Hughes & co for our demise but Coates has allowed things to go sour under his watch so therefore i would say take a good look at your failure Mr Coates to stop the rot that we could see coming 2 seasons ago.

They are not safe yet, they still have Arsenal, Man City, Man United, a win tomorrow will bring them to the relegation battle with only 4 points difference.

Id like to think we go all guns blazing, showing some sort of passion & attitude. Think the final scene in The Wild Bunch, Pike with the Browning going like a bugger! Sadly, its inevitable we would go into armed combat these days with a stick of celery & a water pistol

Honestly on what basis has he done ok, 1 win worst run of home defeats , worsening goal difference , not won In 8 , it’s an absolute car crash of an appointment , by the time we take the field at Swansea I suspect he will be in Chris Kamara territory its not not his fault he got the job and seems a decent bloke but it was a cheap and catastrophic appointment then and is getting worse by the game , he talked of saving us , he’s going to be 7 points adrift when we next kick off , the bloke has got us relegated with 5 games to go , if you said if that happens would you sack him the day he was appointed , he’d be on the dole before Arnie slams in his first goal next Monday . Huh? How are we going to be 7 points adrift by the time we kick off? ....... oh wait, I see what you’ve done, you’re assuming Southampton will beat Chelsea in the earlier game and Crystal Palace, Huddersfield and Swansea will all win. Hmmm, I understand now how you have predicted relegation for us every year for the past 8 or 9 years. You assume every other team will win all their games and we will lose all ours. Are you an actuary by any chance? We are now 6 Drift and only because Swansea drew not won , as I said lamberts reign has seen an accelerated and catastrophic decline which will gather even more momentum this coming week .

We sure are, luckily there’s still 15 points to play for. I’m not a gambler, but I imagine the odds of all our rivals winning and Swansea drawing must hav been astronomical. One point of order though, Lambert is not to blame that we have seen some weird results this weekend. Let’s hope the underdog trend continues on Monday!

If it had been us, you’d be on here moaning that we were lucky. 15 points to play for. Until it’s a mathematically impossible situation, i’ll Be supporting my team. IF the worst happens, the moment it’s confirmed I’ll be backing my team to win the Championship.

Yeah we're fucked and almost certain to go down. I know Hughes is a wanker. I know the biscuit predicted this in 1066. I know we're shite. But win tomorrow and we have a chance. I expect this team to go down but I certainly don't want them to! UTP.

Simply 3 points is all we need tomorrow. I want every single player to put a shift in, for just 90 mins. Should that not happen, each and every won of them will be getting the most abuse possible from me at the next home match
