Absolutely. Need to keep him and Shawcross to have any hope of bouncing back up next season.

Theres some right knobs on here. It was a guttsy performance that we were unfortunate not too win. Question the quality but not the effort. The lads gave everything. You're right mate. Can't fault the effort. But looking at the season overall, and the week after week piss poor quality, we have to admit that we're just not premier league quality. We haven't won a game for three months. It isn't a case of bad luck that we are where we are. We will certainly be relegated. I was convinced after the Everton fuck up that we were down so tonight doesn't disappoint a great deal. Fair play to the boys for having a go. We will bounce back from this car crash of a season. Stoke City will return to the big time once more. 2 good posts, but we continue to concede goals from winning/drawing positions. Even after the Everton loss, I thought Lambert's hard work might have borne fruit and turned results round, but the fact is our teamwork is far poorer than the likes of Newcastle, Brighton, Huddersfield, and Burnley, and we have less talent in the squad than Southampton, Palace, and West Ham. We are only now battling like Watford, Bournemouth, and, since December, Swansea have been doing. Our defending has been shocking, passing third rate, ability to create and score abysmal. We deserve to be where we are in the Prem and in very serious danger of dropping out of the Championship next season. I have seen many Champioship teams playing much better football than us this season and we are going to lose our best players.

Spot on , we are a very very poor team , about to lose its 4 best players , with a very poor manager now pushing kamara for the titoe of least effective stoke manager , bereft of boardroom leadership ,with a staggeringly incompetent CEO there is not one single indicator to say we will do anything but continue to slide at a increasing pace post the final confirmation of relegation .

I still think with a little bit more luck in 4 games lambert could of easily got us mid table. He has been unlucky, no question about it. But just not done enough

I still think with a little bit more luck in 4 games lambert could of easily got us mid table. He has been unlucky, no question about it. But just not done enough I agree Lambert has worked hard and improved the effort, improved the fitness, instilled some discipline, and we are battling more than we did under Hughes. However the fact is the quality is just not there. I don't believe it is bad luck has got us where we are. We took the lead today, but in all honesty can you say we deserved it? We were lucky Arni had one of his regular "off days", and Hart slipped up, otherwise we would not have got a point. For once the ref did not destroy our chance of winning, we did to ourselves, yet again; that is not bad luck.

We for sure never looked like taking the lead, and never deserved to take the lead, but that's football. All in all, we were dire. Absolutely dire.

Is that a bit of sour grapes? iād rather have that fecker than Berafeckinhino coz at least he tryās. If you gave him a little slap heād probably put you in A&E for your trouble. Weāre fucked now. Division feckin two with the Baggies and feckin Hughesās feckin Southampton.

Any manager worth his salt would have insisted that we signed a striker before the January window shut. Said target must want to come here Depends on the money on offer to the player and, perhaps to an even greater extent, his agent.

Diof had two really good chances again - he's just not Premier league and Sobhi again could not beat a man cross a ball and in the box off balance when a simple shot just outside 6 yard box. We had enough chances but gave the ball away too much - panic and their goal was coming.

We were so close last night. such a shame Agreed, but their equaliser smacked of laziness yet again! Forget what Butland should or shouldn't have done, just look at Cameron's pathetic headed effort. On as sub, should be tearing every muscle in his body to head clear and what does he do, a lazy 8 metre piss poor shunt across the park straight to West Ham, from which they made 1 pass to Carroll & the rest is history!. It's that type of half heartedness and crap application from an individual that has done us time and again!

You ask bayernoatcake there is literally nobody on this forum who has defended Cameron more than me. I've taken a barrage of abuse in the past on behalf of him.... But that cameo really was utterly atrocious. When he came on, I thought he was the perfect sub because I felt we were losing the midfield battle. Really, he added nothing and lost the ball repeatedly in dangerous areas. I saw him make one good interception, but as I said, as cameos go, that was woeful. Woeful as fuck.
