I was there for that as a 14 year old. They did have Bobby Moore in goal though! Think of me tonight. My Hammer-supporting other half has been invited around (with me) to her Hammer-supporting sister and brother-in-law's to watch the game. Am I wrong to have accepted when I could watch it in misery at home on my own? I feel your pain mate. You just know we'll lose and you'll suffer accordingly. Then we'll move on to the weekend where Burnley will turn up, bore us to death, have 1 shot on target and beat us 1-0 to confirm our relegation. I'm not sure what I have done in a previous life, or indeed this one, to deserve such a scenario but it has been sadly inevitable for far to long. I don't expect our shithouse players to save us from such misery sadly.

On route now, not sure how I am feeling about tonight. Be a miracle if we stay up now so no pressure.
Anyone know how many we have sold? Any decent boozers near ground also

I think that tonight is the fork in the road. Anything less than a convincing win and its the Championship for us. Go there and come away with 3 points and a great performance then the great escape is on. I believe that we can still get out of this given the performances against Asre and Spuds and the run ins that other teams have. Unlikely? Yes Impossible? No GGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRNNNNN STOKE!!! I didn't know we had a fan in New Brunswick, Canada. I had a great visit / vacation there, lovely place. "Clearly" I am distracting my self from the match

Why are they bottom then? Pardew. He's definitely a problem Good job they we're doing so well before he was there... Tenth last year,no significant outgoings. Shocking relegation.

West Brom play as a team and have a couple of strikers that can score goals. Why are they bottom then? Don’t you know, it’s cool to prognosticate that every team in the world is better than Stoke?

We don't have Choupo or Jese to call on up front once we realise Diouf is not the answer and Ramadan doesn't know how to cross a ball. Expect Crouch to appear on 60 minutes dressed as the Grim Reaper.

If we want it enough, and we stay focused and switched on for 90 mins, we will get 3 points, similar to wba last night.

If we had a goal scorer and a decent goalie we might stand a chance but ...................we havent. We are doomed and we better be careful next year the trapdoor awaits especially with Southampton looking like theyll go down and ditch Hughes. Some good teams to beat to get back up.

Start Campbell tonight, either with or without diouf! Diouf is absolutely AWFUL on his own, so time to either put Campbell with him, or drop him! Got to try something different in this MUST WIN game, otherwise diouf on his own tonight upfront will be a disaster!!! Go oooonnnn Stoke!!!

Campbell up front on his own? Get a grip lad. It's less to do with Diouf's ability and more to do with Campbell's inexperience. He may get a look off the bench but that's about it.

I'd stick with the same system and probably the same XI as the last couple of weeks.

Just decided I'm not going to put myself through more turmoil so I'll be ignoring our inevitable defeat tonight.
Down without so much of a whimper since lambert took over

We'll beat West ham tonight! Just need to keep diouf off the field, time for Campbell to have his chance from the start! My team tonight would be..... Butland Bauer. Shawcross. Indi. Pieters. Shaqiri. Allen. Badou. Sobhi. Crouch. Campbell.

Have accepted relegation for a few weeks now,we definitely have been one of the worst teams in the division but have got a sneaky feeling we are going to get at least a point tonight(then most probably lose to Burnley on Sunday)
West Ham 1:2 Stoke
As always......GGGGOOOAAARRRNNN U RIP ROARING POTTERS.
