Stuart Pearce said Lanzini wouldn't play on Monday as it was too early. Young Rice looks a player actually and whatever happened to Reece Oxford? I know he's back in the UK but does he even get on the bench? Still at Borussia M.Gladbach isn't he? Last played in March it says on transfermarkt..... just back from an injury, them and red bull been offering 15-20m depending if you believe the rags To be honest I can see us taking it as like said Rice plays the same positions and is better

YEAH STILL IN gERMANY RICE IS VASTLY SUPERIOR OGBONNA HAS BEEN OUTSTANDING AND EARNT A RECALL TO TH ITALY SQUAD, NO MEAN FEAT AT CENTRE BACK MASUAKU IS A GOOD PLAYER TOO, BEING LINKED WITH PSUR AN CHELSEA FOR 20M PLUS I thought Oxford had come back. I rate Ogbonna but Masuaku is a strange one. He's definitely a wing back but would he displace Alonso at Chelsea? Think you'll need at least one new midfielder in the Summer though. desperately which is why the carvahlo saga last summer and dendocker in jan was so annoying But that getting way ahead we still in shit and need stay up before even think of that Hope there a way we both can (after we beat you Monday of course)

I think we need to win all 4 of our winnable games just to have a realistic chance to be honest. I think even a draw here would not be enough here, a defeat would be the final nail in the coffin.

I agree we really need a win but 4 points from West Ham and Burnley will keep us in the hunt for the final two games but they will then both become must wins.

If I were Lambert, this will be my starting 11:
...............Butland Bauer - Showcross - Indi - Peiters ........Allen ---------Ndiaye Diouf ------------------------ Ramadan ...............Shaqiri ................Choupo
If it doesnt work up front so Ramadan goes to RM, Choupo LM, Diouf CF. With Crouch instead of Diouf at the last 20 minutes, or beside him if Stoke is losing.

With Choupo out and Jese in another Time Zone, we have no options out wide. Ramadan really needs to show more than he has. Actually putting a cross in or trying the odd shot would be a great start.

They can all do more. Ramadan has worked his socks off last two games helping Pieter's out. Whilst he was poor going the other way at Arsenal I thought he carried a bit of threat v Spurs. Stick with him.

I'd go for Campbell; it's ultra risky but the rest of our so called strikers are so bad or so naughty that it's the only choice for me.

Our players are training hard ahead of the game (Evras Monday morning video this week) Hi mate quick question what's it like getting in and out of Stratford Station after the game on a night match - because of work looking at leaving the car at Luton/Harpenden and getting the train in via St Pancras, will need to depart Stratford around 22:30/22:45 will that be enough time? Plenty.

I cant judge Campbell, (If i have to judge him he was not effective in the few minutes he played), I didnt watch him for enough minutes, but if i were Lambert i wouldnt take this risk and i would start with Diouf as CF, Bauer RM and Zouma RB.

I think if we win this we have a chance to build something. Not easy just not sure how we score enough goals .
But get a win and confidence can grow .
Lose this one I think it's hard to see how we get going as Burnley will be tough anyway need a boost before that one .

If the players didnt understand the gravity of the situation at 3pm today they ought to now.
I've been pretty optimistic this season, but even the most battle hardened optimist will have to accept the inevitable if we lose and that includes me.
5 games and failure isn't an option.

Doomed or not, after today I think our lads will come out fighting and get something, probably not enough in the long run but I know if I was putting £50 on that game it wouldn't be a home win. We will revisit this on Monday.

<the sound of 3 reedy voices at the racetrack ground> "We'll be with you, be with you, every step .... ah stuff it! We've been down for 6 months already and I only come to games because I'm a masochist."
