I remember he had a 1v1 sprint race with Jagielka (35 year old, never been known for pace) and got beat. That is some real pace that is. That said, he has all the makings of another Salah. He will probably go abroad and smash it, come back to England and be World Class. Just because its us. Jagielka was known for his pace. I remember a thread on here about him being clocked as one of the quicker players in the league.

He made one stupid error when not passing the ball to shaqiri in the second half, carried on running with it and lost it. That annoyed me. Apart form that, did ok, not the worst by any means He was awful mate.Blame the coaches for not giving him game time and destroying his confidence, but yesterday he was abject. He is an empty husk of a player to the one we signed, almost like all his good attributes have been coached out of him. This club has got a lot to answer for in my opinion. A lot of players seem to turn to shit when they join us, don't they?

Imagine running with the ball and seeing your only outlet on a counter attack is Crouch. Then you look inside and you find the CMs are sitting on the defenders toes.

He has never come across the sort of player you would associate with being quick but apparently he is one of the fastest defenders there is. Even now! Fair enough - I like Jagielka as a player as well. I was more trying to make a point of Lambert saying Sobhi was lightning quick and that not being the case.

I know he was mostly very poor overall, but when it was 11 on each side I thought we looked far more lively for having Sobhi in the team.

So many times he slowed potential counter attacks down by taking way too many touches and effectively grinding to a stop

One of our main problems since Arnie left has been the almost total inability of any of our players, Shaqiri included, to beat a player in a one v one situation - in that respect, Ramadan is no different than the rest of em !

Slow as fuck, hasn't got a shot in him, weak as piss, crossing isn't anything to shout about. Not sure what he does to warrant a place other than Choupo being shite.

He did more in that 1st half than Cheapo has done since October

His main problem seems to be his decision making. He has no idea when to pass and when to take a man on. I still think he looks like an orthodox right winger who could concentrate on getting crosses in.

Poor yesterday. How old is he? 20? 21? There was one instance in the first half where he knocked the ball past 35 year old Phil Jagielka and lost out in the subsequent foot race Age does not mean slow at 35 I was still quick.

He’s going to go to a Liverpool, Everton or even the Arse and get the minutes he deserves and turn into a decent winger as we leave the league, you just know it.

I still think he has huge potential. Hughes and his coaching staff somehow managed to coach the flair and the confidence out of him.

He was the best player of Stoke before the red card, he was fighting for every ball, the final results always have big impact on the judgment of the players, I dont know why someone blames the 20 years old kid playing in the snow for first time for this game when Adam, referee and Lambert were direct causes for the result, Although Lambert squad was weird Stoke was dominating the game before the red card then everything was destroyed by Adam followed by an offside goal for Everton.
I agree Ramadan didnt have a big impact in the game and he was poor in the 2nd half, but what was he expected to do after the red card when there is no support from the midfielders and there is a slow Crouch upfront, compare him to Shaqiri in this game and tell me what is the impact Shaqiri did and Ramadan didnt.
Ramadan has much more than what he gave in Stoke but he is not the person to be blamed, he is in a stupid cycle of "on the bench for months with zero confidence - improving when given time - being good then dropped for no cause" and repeat the cycle.

£15m?? We should be pushing £100m with Shaq, Allen, Butland. ( The ones most likely to be off) add to that all the other possibilities and we have finally succeeded self sufficiency for at least half a season any way

He'll go somewhere else and absolutely thrive. He's been fucked around by two managers, now. Given a proper run of games in a team that has a clue what they are supposed to be doing, and he'll shine.
