Christ on a bike
Give Lambert a chance
Agreed the subs were late, but he’s been here a little over 3 weeks and is learning about the players
Not his fault the players lack fitness
I appreciate time is short
COYMP!!!

Someone blind, deaf and who spends their days stuffing crayons up their nose would have realised we needed Diouf on at half time and subs way earlier, he’ll get pelters for today and he deserves every single one of them.

Yep, not my first choice or any choice tbh but he's got a lot to do in a short time and there's going to be mistakes, he should rightly get criticised for the lack of subs but some of the hysteria on here is a bit over the top.

The board haven't given him a good chance, let's face it....... both the timing and the manner of his appointment were completely shit.

Full backing and support? Yup.
Beyond criticism? Nope.

Brah, if he couldn’t see that... I don’t think he will in 5 years like Hughes didn’t, sorry. A two year old has the cognitive ability to see tiredness in others.

You can't have it both ways though. It was said by both the club and Lambert that in his interview he knew implicitly the strengths and weaknesses of the squad and that he spelled out clearly his plans going forwards.
Once you are in that territory there is very little wiggle room for any errors like what we've seen over the last two games.
He deserves our backing absolutely. He is not immune from criticism though.

I wonder if managers stuck in the dugout actually miss out on some things. Watching on a stream and in the stands it was obvious that Moting was fucked. Maybe managers should have a tv next to them as well? I can’t understand how he missed the obvious

There is a divide developing now between top/bottom half. We are still well in it with 9 other teams and sit 3 points off 11th. We should all be concerned but the drama queens on here are just laughable sometimes

He doesn’t have the luxury of easing himself in, we’re in real danger of being relegated.
We can’t afford to piss away points from winning positions against teams in and around us.

Quite simply there is no time. It’s tough but them was the terms he took on and he needs to produce results accordingly or be deemed a failure. As things stand he has produced 2 good halves of football out of 6.

Lambert could and should have changed things with subs much earlier. It was clear as day what was going to happen. Majorly responsible for that defeat I’m afraid and did exactly what Hughes would’ve done......makes me wonder if they are related.

The criticism is ludicrous, he has had a couple of weeks to put right 2 years of problems, I thought he did leave the subs too late, but you've got to give him time.

Conceded 2 goals in three games Previous three game average was over 6 4 points from three games. Previous three game average 2.6
Disappointed today obviously but let’s have some perspective. Things have improved and Some of the criticism on here is beyond belief

Its hilarious how the comments changed from the first half to the second half, typical turnstile reaction on this board. Bunch of knicker wetters, did you really think it would be that easy or that things would turn around so quickly, we are going to lose more games that's a fact, but we also look a lot more organised and have a fighting chance now.

We were abysmal in the second half and showed that the losing mentality still runs deep. Lambert took this job no doubt telling the board that he was the man to stop us being relegated. He is being and will be judged against that criteria - no ifs or buts. The performances we have now put in against 2 mid table (distinctly ordinary in fact) sides are telling us that the changes required are not happening yet. He has zero time to get this right it has to happen now. Those are the cold hard facts of the matter - turn it (very) quickly or he has failed.

It doesn't matter who came in to replace Hughes, it would be a big ask of anyone. Listened to his interview earlier, he was gutted that we lost, a draw would have been disappointing. Those were his words, he and the team need our full support, or we will go down. As it stands, there is still a decent chance of staying in this league.

Starting Crouch, late substitutions, players out of position. even if we say up, can't see the board investing. Getting difficult to give a shit really.

We should all be concerned but the drama queens on here are just laughable sometimes Let's wait to the end of the season to see if we're laughing. Gotta hope we are but as things stand we've sleep walked our way into a crisis and some of the posters who've ' liked ' your post are guilty of believing the message but not seeing the truth. No need to insult Lambert though, this predicament is certainly not of his making that's for sure.
