SSN now saying Chelsea are being linked to Arnoutovic! Would be great if he ditched his beloved WHU at the first attempt but can't see it happening! Now that would be beautiful Top player it would be very interesting to see what he could produce surrounded by other top players.

Presumably the fact that Carol, Crouch and Barnes are English might have something to do with the choices also.
And of course they aren't Champions league cup tied :-)

The last paragraph is hardly news. It’s like saying that if Butland is in the starting 11 he’s likely to be in goals.

So an offer too good to refuse then?
What's that?
I'd want at least 15m.
Or 2/3 players permanently.
His goals off the bench could be absolutely invaluable.

Sky say Chelsea may turn their attention to Marko Arnautovic Do we have a sell on? You would have thought we would have put one on there? I don't suppose there was much anticipation of West Ham selling him on in his 30s for much of a profit to make it worthwhile. I think it's fair to say if we were prattish enough to not insist on one in the N'Zonzi deal, it's unlikely we'll ever insist on one.

But I'd always try to slip one in tbh.

Did the players train today, or was it their day off?
I ask, because I saw Crouchy arriving at Stoke station at 8.30 this morning.
I know he travels up and down on the train so could've been just travelling home, if they had today off.
If they did have training, then could he have been on his way to Chelsea for talks?

Crouch has been a great Stokie and Is unfortunately approaching the end of his allusttrious career.
If the money is right I feel that he deserves for us to not obstruct what would be “A DREAM MOVE TO END HIS CAREER IN FOOTBALL”
His boyhood club, near to his family home and a chance to possibly play Champions Lge football.
We owe him and respect him, I would be sad to see him go, and know that he could play a vital part in our survival battle, but as I said IF THE MONEY IS RIGHT and paid in time we could reinvest it and make it a win/win for everybody.

It would certainly appear that way.
It's almost as if Pete is timing his journey so that he gets off the train that he knows I will be getting on.
I'm going to get a restraining order.

I bet every day he psyches himself up to talk to you, then shits it and just scurries off with his head down. I was in the 1st class lounge a few years back on my own, and in walked Crouch. Just me and him.... I acted cool as fuck and ignored him. I'm such a pussy.

www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/01/25/chelsea-losing-patience-antonio-contes-claims-has-no-say-signings/Negotiations for a permanent deal worth around £24 million for striker Dzeko have hit problems and the transfer remains in the balance chiefly over the length of the contract offered. Chelsea are prepared to give him to 2019, but the 31-year-old’s existing Roma deal runs for a year longer. There have been further complications while Dzeko’s agent Irfan Redzepagic attempts to get a work permit for the United Kingdom that will enable him to travel to the country to negotiate the final part of the deal. ...if getting the Bosnian proves impossible they may yet return to Crouch with the Stoke City man the most likely back-up choice.

Now that would be beautiful Top player it would be very interesting to see what he could produce surrounded by other top players. There is no doubt in my mind that Arni would be a much better player if surrounded by other top players. It became clear last year Arni has matured (not withstanding the bottle kicking incident) and was ready to move on. Shaq will be looking at Arni’s success and thinking along the same lines. We are always hoping to be a stepping stone for players like Arni and Shaq. Southampton figured that out a long time ago and have been very successful at this business model (until it backfires and they get relegated).

I think Arnie would struggle at any club where he isn't perceived as one of the key players
