Butland Bauer Shawcross Indi Pieters Cameron Allen Shaqiri Ireland Choupo Berahino If Cameron isn't fit then fuck knows what to do. Good shout. Adams instead of Ireland? I quite liked Ireland on Monday. He's the type who can move the ball quickly and accurately in areas where he's surrounded by defenders and I think that's exactly what we've been missing this season. He's a very tidy player and if he's got an ounce of the vision he used to have he'd improve us ten fold, as long as we don't start Crouch. I'd rather it was Bojan of course but I can't see that happening

Lame second half down to fitness levels, not sure if that will improve by the weekend. Our season starts right now ! I don't think our (lack of) fitness will have as much effect on Saturday - the pitch isn't as big and we (hopefully!) won't be chasing shadows all over the place.

Lose on Satdee and we will be effectively 8 points behind this lot due to the goal difference and we already need a couple of wins on the bounce just to get out of the bottom four. We're starting to drift and I just hope that Lambert has an immediate impact on spirit and fitness. Even my wife asked me why we looked knackered second half WHO?? You and your wife?? Think you’re on the wrong forum sir! 😉

Hey guys. Huddersfield fan here. Thought it was a cracking game at Jss late last year and really hoping we can get a win. In regards to our travel. Lots of minibuses as trains are not available from Huddersfield. Is there a good place to park up and visit a few pubs. Harvester showing as the only away pub. Any advise would be ideal.

What's the state of Geoff, Ryan and Erik? We need all three back this Saturday. Fighters all three, and the type we need for the run in. It is all about characters now. Wimmer needs consigning to the stand, as do the 2 young full backs (their time will come).

Hope, Ryan Geoff and Erik are available. We could use a lift from their experience even if it is off the bench. I’d like a three of Geoff, Allen and Ireland in the middle to start.

Can someone reassure me that they're not allowed to bring that fucking drum and/or clappers into the stadium?

Zouma (presuming Ryan hasn't trained for ages) Ryan had Hughes in his pocket, just like Pulis. They would both pick him whether he was fit or not. It's important the new manager doesnt fall into that trap. As I've said before I think Ryan can still play a part for us, even though his form and fitness are on a downward spiral. But he has to be fully fit, otherwise he panics in games, when his defending doesnt work, and make stupid fouls in or just outside the box which leads to goals and loss of points,as it has done several times already this season,

Huddersfield isn’t a gimme 3 points. We will have to work or bollocks off. I know from experience when you have time off between jobs you have a lot of thinking time . What could I change, where did I go wrong etc.Early signs are positive in that he wants to get involved which is the only way early on when you need to work out the workers from the shirkers.

Have Huddersfield taken the larger allocation Yes and they’ve sold out. And there’s only a couple of hundred tickets left in the home ends so be nice to have a final push and break that 30,000 barrier.....

Park behind the Town Hall. Costc£4. Drink in the Glebe then catch the shuttle bus to the ground £4,return The Harvester is crap and if you park near the ground it can take an hour to get away. I’d wish you luck but you’d know I wouldn’t mean it. Hope you stay up though. Great away Day is Huddersfield

I only saw Udders away on a stream but they were clearly a well drilled outfit both in and out of possession. Guess they’re well on the slide by now but could be a problem for us if we don’t do what the new manager wants and defend and attack as a team. Then again, two new full backs will make all the difference for us.

It was a lively game, part of the reason for that was Huddersfield let us back in it, Choupo (who was shocking on Monday) had a cracking game. For all their energy they let you play in their half at times.

Massive game. Those just above us all have much tougher games on paper, so winning this one could give us a big lift. Psychologically, a win would do us the world of good, too. I don't even wan't to contemplate losing it. Assuming Shawcross is still out and we don;t make any additions before the weekend, I would go with this. Butland Bauer Zouma Martins Indi Peiters Ireland Allen Adam Shaqiri Ramadan Diouf Bench: Grant Crouch Choupo-Moting Fletcher Wimmer Edwards Berahino Cameron Let's just grind out a win, relieve the stress a bit and then focus on doing what business we can to support the new gaffer. We clearly need to spend in several areas including left back, central midfield, striker, and IMO both wings need to be addressed. Shaq is a far better number 10 than he is right winger, and neither Choupo-Moting or Ramadan have done enough to make the left wing spot their own. IT's a lot to ask, and I doubt we'll address all of those areas in January, but let's hope we can at least bring in 2-3 quality additions. Bauer looks like he could be exactly what we need, so at least thats a start. This
