After all that, that's all you could come up with I think you're short a few straws mate. It's more polite than replying with "what bollocks" isn't it? I suppose but I wouldn't say its bollocks tbh.

6 months ago to anybody with a brain it was obvious we had gone backwards and that we would be heading towards relegation if things didn't change, the supporters could see it so why couldn't Scholes, a competent CEO would have succession planned and chosen a number of managers to be a short listed IRRESPECTIVE OF THE OWNERS WISHES BECAUSE ITS PRUDENT TO DO SO especially when other clubs were reacting to bad results and appointing replacement managers that we might have been considering, he has spent the last 10 days presiding over a circus that has resulted in us looking like complete fools to the entire footballing world by appointing our 5th or 6th choice out of desperation, then there is the repeated fiasco of the clubs transfer dealings for which he is at least partially to blame. So no proof then. So you think he's done a bang up job then?

Still got no proof? And to answer your question, I don't know, I don't know whats he's asked to do and thats the point, no one really does, he could be against Lambert and got out voted but still did the job he was asked, but then thats the same as those on here giving him shit, I'd be guessing with no facts to back it up.

Each to their own though with that. I don't trust our board and I haven't trusted Scholes for a long, long time.

What this sorry episode will have told John Coates is that major behind the scenes changes will be required in the summer We've been in the Prem for 10yrs. All this knee jerking is pathetic. Certainly not been progressive. All too predictable

I know 3 different coaches at the club who all work at different areas, don't know each other and all 3 tell me the same things.

In any sphere of life, knowing that there are important things you don't know, is an important piece of knowledge and wisdom in itself. Donald Rumsfeld once famously identified this when he called them the known unknowns. For us supporters, I think this is a classic case.

When the same things are happening time and time again like they do under Scholes, you have to question them. Blindly supporting a board who have made terrible decisions these last years isn't the way forward.

I'm not sure if that's a reference to me or not but if it is I'm all in favour of questioning those who run our club and the wider game, and have done, and continue to do, plenty of both in my time. And I haven't and wouldn't "blindly" support anyone.

Its not blindly supporting, clearly there are problems but hanging a bloke when you don't have the facts isn't really fair is it.

The overriding fact is that the bloke can't close big deals. You have no facts, opinion yes but no facts. He is either the chief executive and responsible for running the club or he isn’t ., If he is we are in a terrible predicament of our own making so he crap at his job , if he isn’t he is stealing £1m a year . so let’s assume he is either way the answer is the same he is responsible for putting our principal source of income at mortal risk at best in my view sure to be lost , that’s what he is rewarded so handsomely for And should be dismissed for gross incompetence , failure to have adequate succession plan , and bringing the country into disrepute through woeful pr management would be enough .
