We are 6 points off 11th so anything could happen. The problem is that of momentum we are sinking down whilst others who mafe earlier managerial changes are on the way up. We have good individual players who seem unable to play as a team. We have decent defenders on paper who can't defend on the pitch ( I blame zonal marking). Strikers who couldn't hit a cows arse from 5 yards. A great goalkeeper who will suffer from a bad back from picking the ball out of the net and no manager.
Other than that we are looking all set.
Strangely I think we will get ourselves out of it one way or another but if I am right we need major major changes in summer.

I'm watching Newcastle v Swansea. I can see 2 poor sides with little skill (poor passing, poor shooting, lack of ideas, just one bit of brilliance from Dyer), but I can also see loads of effort and some speed about the pitch. Two teams who are really trying hard to get a result and prepared to put their bodies on the line. Fair enough, but we seem to lack quality and grit. I think we are in real trouble, especially with today's news. Agreed, and pace and, apart from Allen, movement. Which was my main point. We do have the skill to score goals, but not the effort to create opportunities.

Unless PC pulls a cracking rabbit out of the hat we are fucked with this bunch of strokers linked. His biggest mistake was not fuckin Hughes and Co. off in the summer, by keeping the useless twat this long he has virtually condemned us to Championship football next season. I know but we must have a better plan than MON fuck me I would do a better job.

Whatever trouble we're in, we've got to grit our teeth and expect it to be a lot worse by about 10.00 on Monday. After that, we pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and hope ithat a new manager with feasibly winnable home games against Huddersfield and Watford will see us drag ourselves out of the bottom three and get some kind of momentum.

Trouble is those in charge STILL can not see it and they will be in charge when so no clean broom when we go down The arrogance at the top is staggering. But hey Coates didn't know what people were worrying about. Bloody club.
All so true.... perhaps now he can't get his favourite 2 managers to come, his cake won't taste so sweet and the balloons burst and they dam well wake up and sort this mess of their own doing out!!!

It would take a small miracle to dig ourselves out of the rut we’ve created for ourselves

At the moment we are without doubt the worst side in the PL. We probably also have the most one paced, unbalanced squad too, it is going to take a miracle in this transfer window to save us.

We are at the end of our shelf life in this league, we are defiantly going down, there is just not enough quality in the squad to do something with the team. We will not be spending in this window because we have not got a manager. Drop down, get a younger manager and rebuild from scratch is the best we can hope for. Sometimes you have to go backwards to move forwards. Bloody shambles.

He’s gone. Let it go, fella. Look at the position he's left us in, Stateside There no denying he’s left us in a right state, but he’s gone. The question now is just how much worse can it get while we fuck around trying to find a new gaffer? It seems like the club hierarchy had no game plan whatsoever in terms of contingency plans, and we’re now left with nobody steering the ship while we steam head first into a fucking iceberg that Stevie Wonder could have spotted with his eyes closed. Hughes is history now, no point retreading old ground. There are others at the club that bear a large share of responsibility and they need to get their shit together, sharpish.

6 points between 12-20th Places. Plenty of teams on shit form. Plenty who have worse squads than us. We aren`t fucked yet thats for sure. But, the next two home games are against two teams who are dying....... we must demand 6 points from these two games. Therefore appointing someone asap and getting some fresh players through the door is imperative now. I`m gutted about QSF but it`s done now, an appointment has to be made literally asap so they can prepared for the first of two huge games in albeit it 6 days time now. 3 weeks today - this thread will have a lot more relevance. Chris I'm with you on that. We are not the only poor side in this division, Huddersfield goal difference has taken a whack today, we need to worsen that next week

If we play like we did against Man Utd and Arsenal early in the season we would have no problems.
If we play like we did against Newcastle when we had players having a walk in the park. We will go down.

Fucking loads of it, on and off the pitch by the looks of it.
I wouldn't actually be surprised if we ended up bottom of the league. Could be between us and Swansea but it all depends on what a new manager achieves.
I was really hoping that it'd be sorted by Wednesday gone and the fact managers keep turning us down is not a good sign.
