We should be ok, plenty of teams having trouble this year. I still think Brighton will get pulled into the bottom 3 yet. If we stopped approaching games against the top 5 as damage limitation and went for it a bit we might actually get somewhere. The attitude of oh we are not going to win this one is frightening. It's not the Stoke I know or want to watch.

We will beat Watford, Burnley & Palace at home, I don't see the fuss myself..Ok we may end up lower this year than previous, but we will be ok.

The run of ' winable games ' starts immeadiately after man utd
Whoever comes in has one game ( man utd) to work out whats wrong and start banking some wins
Thats a big ask
After a hsndful of winable games, it gets hard again
Now we know why west ham palace everton wba swansea acted early
Still no clues as to why stoke would want to dither and dither. Not helpful to the new guy, Whoever he is

Point per game will see us right providing we don't get multi goal poundings.
Let's start it with a surprise point at Old Trafford just to piss the clown off.

We are right royally fucked my old fruit. It is all down to the board burying their heads in the sand, he should have gone 6 weeks ago to give the new manage time to assess what was required and to drill the unfit tubs of lard in to shape to give us a fighting chance not 100% sure on this stat as at work but I think we have won 6 games in the last 22, we now need to win 7 games from the last 16.....yep we are in right shit, fingers crossed boys because this is going to be one hell of a bumpy ride. And as for being on the same points as blah blah blah, our goal difference is that bad it is as good as another point to the other teams around us come the final hour. How do you get 7? If you want to be negative why not just say 15? Piece of piss basic maths suggests 7 wins at 3 points a game just takes us over the magical 40 point mark when added to our pathetic 20 as currently stands, as I said earlier our embarrassing goal difference is worth a point to all the other teams around us. You dress it up how you want soldier, I stick by 21 points required to be safe fuck this 38 and we will be fine bollocks, operation cluster fuck is well and truly in full swing and its going take a massive upturn in fortunes to pull clear of this rut we are in.

50% are quite easy to do. Ill take wimmer and berahino myself and drop them off in Wolverhampton. They wouldn't have them they're ambitious. No, but they’re too dumb to find their way back!

Simple? Maybe not.

And if Florence says no tomorrow?
We left it way too late, our squad is awful, especially if you compare it to the likes of West Sham & Palarse. We need 4 or 5 players and we need them before the next home game and they need to be quality players - highly unlikely to happen.
Any manager that has done their homework is not going to want to come here. I think we can still get to 35pts, but will that be enough, let's hope Southampton go into freefall

Not being melodramatic but unless the new manager (if someone ever actually wants the job) can produce an almost total head shift, we're the weakest team in the bottom 3, have lost all momentum, shape and confidence just as others are beginning to gain it - SCFC board, look at Palace and hang your ostrich heads in shame. This situation is down to you, not Sparky.
My gut is we'll survive, by the skin of our teeth I strongly suspect, but 17th wil be a massive, massive result for us this season.

Sorry but your gut makes no sense if you then re read your sentence above, which I totally agree with My heart hopes we scrape it, but my head says no chnace given the state we have sleep walked in to. Even when we have won we looked a shambles. Now we just look a rudderless shambles and our GD does not lie. Very rare for a team with the worst GD to stay up and no manager at the worst time of the season

It's gonna be ups and downs until the end of the season, West ham and palace will be safe but Huddersfield, Southampton, Watford, Brighton, Bournemouth are all sliding, we must get a bounce when someone new comes in which will take us above all of these who are not going to benefit from a managerial bounce.
We may have timed this well !!

What have we actually done well this season? I'm watching Newcastle v Swansea. I can see 2 poor sides with little skill (poor passing, poor shooting, lack of ideas, just one bit of brilliance from Dyer), but I can also see loads of effort and some speed about the pitch. Two teams who are really trying hard to get a result and prepared to put their bodies on the line.

Well Swansea have just scored at Newcastle.
We are half way through a transfer window, in the bottom 3 and seemingly no closer to having a manager than 7 days ago.
We are in big trouble !
