We HAVE to give a new manager this transfer window I think we are playing roulette hoping Hughes can keep us up on limited January signings and PC will let him go in summer.......I think we are taking one hell of a chance with our premiership status which we would struggle to redeem. Loved Pejic article last night.....what do we appear to have come to!

I actually think that Hughes will still be in charge of us next season, in the championship.

I don't care if we win every game until the end of the season, (more likely lose every game),I've had enough of him. Totally pissed off

As much as 5 0 stuffings are hard to take it may be justified if we win Monday. Anything other than three points however and that is surely that. I said on here a couple of weeks ago that I think we're stuck with him until the end of the season. If we are, then it's touch and go whether we can survive with what our Chairman thinks is our best-ever squad. We are going down unless we bring in serious quality in January, that or Hughes is sacked tonight and we've decent replacement waiting in the wings. Ok, we're going down...

He’s been in the last chance saloon for about a year. It’s like a parent that doesn’t want to discipline their child even though he’s trashed the place, pissed in the fishbowl and kicked dear old nan in the shins. Couldn’t have put it better myself.

With the whole defence out today we had no chance, Hughes put his eggs in one basket for monday. Did anyone think we could get a point with all four first choice defenders out?? Wasn't worth risking Allen one booking away from missing Monday also. What about building a balanced squad so we're ready for such occasions like today, Tactics and a game plan that make sense, Buy players that work with the tactics/formations you have in mind

We're going to have to fluke a quality signing - who's going to want to jump on a sinking ship?

It’s beyond belief that Monday could even be his last chance. He had his last chance 18 months ago. Fuck him off!

If he has to go it must be at 5o.clock after the Newcastle game,if we lose. But only if we have someone to come in ASAP to have time to bring players in to replace the pile of shite we now have at the club.

After most of the team have had a weeks rest against a side who’ve had 2 days then some serious questions need to be asked about the clubs coaching / conditioning staff. For me if we fail to win it’s a bigger embarrassment than today.

Surely we have had feelers out now for a few months I’m not sure who could come in but there’s a big world out there and good managers will give their right arm for a chance in the Premier. We’re not down yet and we need someone who will back there own ability. The windows open and we simply can’t Arse about monitoring situations and waiting for apples to drop. Tuesday morning we need either Hughes or someone else banging on doors and not getting fucked about. Enquire offer. Give them 24 hours. Move on

Scrapy 1-0 win, with some bollocks about a referee decision for sure which means reset the clock for another two weeks...and repeat
However I really hope that the SCFC charity bus opens up for Newcastle on Monday. A game that we get taken to the wood shed & given a slapping. A game that shows us to be the complete shower of shit we are at the moment! Its horrible to say & suggest, but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.
Nowhere to run or hide on New Years Day, I just hope its the day finally that the lights go out (no no...not like the West Ham game) on Mark Hughes & his "team"

To have any chance of staying up we need to win another 6 games. We have regressed and declined in quality so much in the last 18 months (and continue to every week!) that getting a win against a top half team is now virtually impossible. So we must get those 6 wins against the remaining 8 or 9 teams in and around us. Newcastle on Monday is one of those, and it we don't win then that leaves us with hardly any margin for error in the remaining fixtures. What a mess Hughes has got us into!

I don't care if we win 5 nil on Monday, Hughes has to go, the problem is that it appears that the board has been completely negligent in their duty, in that they have no replacement lined up to take over. Since the Spurs debacle the board should have made it their number one priority and searched high and low for a suitable replacement. The old joke springs to mind, they used to be indecisive now they're not so sure. Hughes should be sacked win or lose on Monday regardless. You cant keep yuor job in this manner.

The problem with trying to replace your POS in January is the only players available are other teams’ POS, unless you have 100 million quid lying around.

People need to realise LMH is here till the end of the season then a new manager will replace him regardless what league we are in, my opinion is sacked long ago due to the ever rising of drubbing score lines. The only person that would have replaced him now if he was sacked has been appointed Middlesbrough manager,,,plenty more drubbings to come and hoping not to finish in the bottom 3 or we could be looking for new owners as well as they probably would sell the club if we get relegated

As I've said before the results are not important now , everything is wrong on every level . I can't think of one positive thing to credit Hughes with , no legacy , no work ethic no core of a team no hidden gems nothing to make me feel that his time at Stoke led us to another level , we have a time bomb of a wage bill palacios x10 probably. He needs to get out now and stop bulshitting us with this total support of the lovely coats family crap . Just go and take your back room boys with you

Wasn't worth risking Allen one booking away from missing Monday also. Do you believe the result would have been any different with full strength defence? I don’t think so, we’ve already lost 0-4 at home to Chewsay.
