Got Sheff Wed playing well then it’s all tailed off a bit. Swansea will just be praying he can have a good 6 months - let’s hope he doesn’t.

Massive. Unless as said they're planning for next season.

Will need to spend the money they didn't in Summer in just one month. And then get them bonded in a week.
Sounds a tall order. Sounds more like planning for the championship.

That's a left field appointment although he did a good version of Black Magic Woman with Beyoncé. If he can get a tune out of this Swansea side I'll take my hat off to him!

Good manager. I'm worried they could turn things around now Don't be worried if you really believe that. You can get 1/6 on Swansea staying up with Bet365, lump on it, you'll win 6 grand on a 1 grand stake.

Good manager, he'll keep them up Based on what? Him keeping Wednesday in the Championship? He had Wednesday flying. First season he got them to the play off final and knocking Arsenal out the cup along the way. Then lost in the plays off on penos last season to Huddersfield. Not bad going in just over 2 and a half years with a basic team. He's a good manager

It's a very different ball game scrapping for survival down at the bottom. Hence I said it's a massive gamble.

He got them flying at the top of the league though, the two seasons before they finished 16th and 13th, he comes in and gets them in the plays off back to back. What evidence is there that he can't keep them up? I think he's decent and had Wednesday massively punching above their weight. Getting them in the play offs twice is some achievement. I know it's a different league but he's got a few years experience behind him in English football. He'll do well, unfortunately

It continues Huw Jenkins thinking out of the box when it comes to managerial appointments. It worked splendidly for him several years ago, but the last six (excluding the consistently intermittent Curtis) have failed to stabilise their project. Still it's better than appointing Bradley; Carvahal may outdo him and oversee three wins before they go down never to return.

Wednesday were deemed to be too cautious under Carvalhal. Swansea have scored just eleven goals. So they appoint Carvalhal.
