Swansea looked deader than dead as well, just shows what can happen if you take a gamble instead of picking a “safe” option. Comments now please?????

Wow they have scored just 2 goals in 10 games since they hammered the ammers 4-1 what the fuck has gone on there?!! With Lambert's inability to get his team scoring more than one the game should be full of goals! Clearly 2 managers out of their depth in the Prem both destined to get back to their level which is lower half Championship. Will be interesting to see if they keep him.

I thought it was a dreadful appointment, he had just been sacked by Sheff Weds, they then beat Liverpool and Arsenal at home and drew at Leicester, I thought what a a master stroke of an appointment, then then crash and burn.......!!!!!

They gave themselves a fighting chance and have made a decent fist of attempting to stay up rather than our, feeble, pathetic surrender, so I’m failing to see your point.

About the only argument being used by the board and the handful of lambert supporters to keep Lambert is his 'amazing success' in the championship (Promotion with Norwich 7 years ago 2 x 15th place finishes). Carvalhal had a decent record with Sheff Wed 42% win ratio yet have come to the conclusion that he is not the man for them in the Championship. Why? because he has the stink of failure about him just like Lambert. For christ sake Coates don't make yourself a laughing stock...get rid now so both sets of fans can celebrate getting rid of losers next weekend

It really is beyond comprehension that Lambert is still here. As soon as it was mathematically confirmed last week then he should have gone. Planning for next season should have already begun and it looks like Lambert will remain.
I was pleased with the Statement made by the family and I can stomach the mistakes. However we seem to dilly and dally and procrastinate the inevitable. Get him gone and be proactive for once.

I thought Swansea looked certs to stay up after they beat us 1-0 in February. Full of confidence at that stage, I find it difficult to understand what went wrong in the final 10 matches.

Nothing really went wrong, the 4-1 loss away to Brighton was a bad un but then they bounced back with a 4-1 win against West Ham Losses against Man U, Man C & Chelsea are what would have been expected, A draw away at West Brom & Home to Everton look OK too. It's just the last 2 matches away at Bournemouth & Home against Southampton that have finished em off. Just goes to show how far behind they'd fell that even a fairly decent run wasn't enough to save them.

Yep he only took over two weeks before Lambert and has won five premier league games (will probably be six on Sunday).
Not good enough to stay up but given it a really go.
Am surprised by this as also has proven recent in championship given he took Sheff Weds. to two play offs.
Swansea will probably appoint a random American manager and then wonder why they're bottom half in January.
Of course makes Lambert staying on look even more mental if that will be the case.

Other clubs move fast and outs still remain silent in regards to PL future. Yes Stoke you are going to do things differently. Whatever!

Make quick decisions on informing Thier managers they will not be needed next season. Both with better records than PL. What do we do. Nothing!

I`m confident that a decision has been made but, as should be the case, will be announced at the end of the season.

Carvalhal made a much better go of it than our Scotch plodder. A similar record would've kept us up. Yet still Swansea act swiftly and decisively to get ready for next season in the championship. What the hell are we playing at?? In the club statement they recognised the mistake of keeping Hughes on for too long - are they just repeating the same trick with Lambert? Trigger that break clause, get rid, and get on the blower to Moyes, Allardyce, Bilic, Jokanovic, Silva, Smith or whoever else.
