so Hughes gets sacked but he is a good manager too. I'd put Hughes in the average manager bracket. average manager, average team, average spending, average crowds, average supporters, perfect fit then, especialy punching above his weight for 3 seasons

Good manager. I'm worried they could turn things around now Don't be worried if you really believe that. You can get 1/6 on Swansea staying up with Bet365, lump on it, you'll win 6 grand on a 1 grand stake. I did have a bet. Sometimes you get a good manager in who casts a fresh eye on things and it turns things around. I rate him as a manager and would have given him a chance here

Surely not another new manager bounce. One win does not a new manager bounce make. Good start but Watford are in worse form than us at present.

Won 4, drawn 2, lost 1
In a run that included games at home to Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal.
He's done bloody brilliantly
To be fair I'm we beat Leicester, Southampton and Man City then so will have Lambert 😂

Swansea looked deader than dead as well, just shows what can happen if you take a gamble instead of picking a “safe” option.

Swansea's experience - they were a basket case less than two months ago, now they're the form team amongst the strugglers - goes to show anything can happen.

The upturn in Swansea's results has been quite remarkable and fair play to them. But just what have they got that we haven't? Like Bojan Mackey said, they were deader than dead before Christmas and they looked completely bereft of confidence.
Now look at them. Have they got a better squad player for player? I might be in the minority here but I don't think so. I consider us to be fairly evenly matched.
Do they have a more balanced squad? Probably.
Are they fitter, stronger, more athletic, quicker?
Clearly they've had a great new manager bounce but why haven't we?
Perhaps it comes down simply to character, confidence and maybe a lack of dressing room cliques?
I find it quite baffling... but that could be due to the copious amount of Paulaner Münchner Hell I've consumed since full time.
