Another solid performance today, marked his flank well and showed energy and guile bringing the ball forward. Looks like a very exciting prospect - seems to have appeared from no-where as well when we were all talking about the likes of N'Goy and Campbell. He’s widely regarded as the jewel of our young players, it appears to be coming to fruition.

Hes done brilliantly, especially considering being thrown in at the deep end against City and Spurs

Top lad who went Blurton High (or to give it it's fancy dan modern name, The Sir Stanley Matthews Academy) I think I'd be right in saying he's the first Stoke defender (Maybe player, full stop) to come out of Blurton High since Steve Bould?

Had an ice pack on his calf at the end of the game.
Hopefully nothing serious.

Hes done brilliantly, especially considering being thrown in at the deep end against City and Spurs I would assume because nogoy was getting goals his name will get hyped that little bit more compared to a right back, which is a thankless position compared to the rest

Steady again. He does;t look out of place on the pitch.

With everything else going on in defence the position is his to lose. Who else even deserves the spot at RB? Maybe Edwards and Ramadan can form a solid partnership, If Shaq does play it has to be 10 only.

Thought he was steady today. Happy for him to continue at RB for us. There was one minor issue that happened in the last 10mins. We had just cleared the ball and they had a throw in on their half on the left, 20yds from their goal line. Charlie was up there early to cut off the quick throw and he was urging others to do the same. Edwards and Ramadan just stood on the half way line watching. They were very reluctant to get involved. Not sure whether this was because they were knackered or whether their instructions were not to over commit forwards in the last 10 to protect the draw. The lack of commitment of the Stoke team to close down the options for the throw in was clearly noticed by the Stoke fans.

I have oft slated the acadamy in recent times but here - we might just have unearthed one
my observations are :-
fit - full of running - tenacious - positonal awareness and sense - makes the odd passing mistake but, not frightened to clip a truly delightful 'diagonal' whenever he can also
I thought he handled Mclean so well, he got subbed ( always a good sign - the winger getting booted off the pitch cos hes done fuck all)
in other words a prospect - and right back ? its his position for someone to take off him for now
local too, which is very important in S.O.T

It’s very early doors but the signs are good and could well be our best youth player since Andy Griffin.

Dropped in at the deep end (more like dropped in the ocean) at Man City, and looked (like the rest) shaky. Superb cross though. That baptism of fire could have finished some kids off but fair play to Tom, he's steadily improved and grown in confidence. Certainly doesn't look out of place and he'll just get better and better

You sure? My lad reckons he went Blythe Bridge High? Yet Wiki says some Catholic High School in Stafford?

It won’t happen but if he was wanted by a bigger club, what do you all think his current value is?
I’d go £3 million currently.

You can see he is raw but that is to be expected. There looks to be a solid and technically good footballer in there. Keep playing him and he will only get better. Well in, Tom!

I'd drop everyone we've got a replacement for for Chelsea.
Grant in goal to Saido up front.
