Some of the personal abuse being dished out on here for Hughes is way above and beyond what he deserves.
He’s lost it. The players. The crowd. It’s gone. Obvious for all to see.
But the level of abuse being thrown his way is shameful.
I’d say some of you should hang your heads in shame. But to feel shame you’d probably need a couple of brain cells to rub together.
Some posters on here have really shown their true colours in recent weeks. Sad, angry, twisted. Pitiful.

Agreed. He might have had a decidedly iffy year that's now transcended into a full on shitstorm, but the way some are going on is quite sickening to be honest. You'd think he'd taken us from the PL to League Two.
God knows he's made a mess of what was something really promising but he's not done it on purpose.

He's dragging us down he's become as spineless as your old friend. Angry yes you've got that right people are angry what do you want them to be?

Have to agree.
The use of the word "cunt" to describe him (and Kevin Wimmer) is getting beyond the pale.
Please cut it out eh?

It's never good to see any manager abused but in reality it's pretty mild compared to the personal abuse Tony Pulis received, and is still receiving.

That’s bullshit and you know it. I don't think it is. I think people are rightly angry and that comes off in the form of abuse. It's been the case as far as I can remember and will continue to do so. They deserved the haranguing at the train station, it's been coming for a long, long time. If it had come sooner, we may be in a better position but fans dithered and the owner is still dithering.

Agree totally.
But it goes with the territory.
Shame though as Hughes is a good bloke.
He needs to be sacked, and put out of his misery - but he's a good bloke trying his best - but is a bit lost.

And it doesn't matter if it's on purpose or not, it's the manner of it. It's been so obvious what's been going wrong and he does nothing to address it.

That's fine then for his million odd quid a year as long as he hasn't done it on purpose though at this moment in time I'm not even sure he hasn't. His comments show he harbours quite a bit of bitterness toward fans who have supported him and his team well and been really slow and patient before getting on his back.

1- He doesn't read the oatcake 2- Do you really think he gives a toss what Stoke fans think?
No. He's here because he wants a job and when he gets sacked he'll just treat us like every other club he has managed to totally ruin.

It’s says more about them than it does about Hughes.

Any bitterness he harbors is probably for the fans who have abused him and called him a mutant, fuckwit, cunt etc. That seems a fairly normal human reaction to me.

If you think an atmosphere where angry and frustrated fans could turn at any moment against anything in or to do with red and white is 'awesome', then good luck to you. I want to see the back of Hughes. I really do. I don't want any wedges driven between the club and the fans. It's that relationship that made us a force in the early years, and it's that relationship breakdown that causes so many issues. I'm dreading it. Genuinely.

I just think he's completely brainfarting at the moment. He probably thought Moting would add more to the physical side and tracking back than Shaqiri was offering. Don't get me wrong, I was as confused as the rest of us but we played for a 0-0 as he was that desperate to get something. What would have happened if Berahino came on at 0-0 and we lost 1-0? Would we have been going equally as mad?

Look at how many are now rightly questioning Coates. The issue is how we're being run, how we're playing on the pitch. As I said months and months ago, the club is rotten to the core and that has to change. There are bigger issues at play here than merely staying up.

Respect & like Hughes as a man. I think he usually talks rationally. Just poor coaching, fitness of the squad (from the start of the season), tactics, subs .... I could go on. Is his "coaching team" the real problem? However, more likely Scholes & Carto's dire recruitment policy. Oh, and also from the top
