What was the rational in signing him ? What’s the rational behind the timing of your post? We’ve got major problems, but Wimmer is the least of them. Wimmer is quite a big problem actually, particularly given his ludicrous transfer fee.

We needed a 16/17 goals a season striker and have not got one in 3 seasons, Wimmer is not the problem Try 10 seasons mate. The last 16/17 goal a season striker was arguably Riccy Fuller in the championship. It’s been our Achilles heel since promotion and you’re right it’s not the defence that’s the main problem. If we’d have stuck away those missed chances today we’d have comfortably won the game. Agree about not taking chances but we do concede too many soft goals so it is a problem .

No we didn't. Why does any team need to sign players for a club record fee that aren't any better thsnxwjat they've already got? I agree totally, I really can not see the justification for this signing at any level, grossly incompetent management yet again. Not just Hughes either. Who,behind the scenes sanctioned this deal. It seems that amateur hour isn't just reserved for the clueless Hughes.

Just asking others thoughts on the reason for the signing, he was actually slightly better than the Leicester game today, what do you see as the biggest problem of our major problems ? Playing a wing-back system when we don’t actually have any wing-backs. Playing wiithout a recognized center-forward. Our midfield complete fucking inability to have any positive influence on a game. Like I said, Wimmer is the least of our worries, but feel free to use his transfer fee as another stick to beat Hughes with.

I don't need to you have just beaten Hughes to death with your own sticks , not that I don't agree with any of your points they are all the fault of the manager who has impounded his incompetence by paying £18 million for Wimmer who as you say worryingly is the least of our worries.

So the manager is at fault for all the major problems we have then ? should he be sacked for fucking our team up ? by the way I was right about Wolfy, Imbula, Berahino so the load of old bollocks just might be not a load of old bollocks, let's revisit this conversation at the end of the season regarding Wimmer

You’re still talking bollocks about Wimmer, though. It’s a cheap shot on a day when he was far from the main problem. Nowt new from you though, to be honest.

Can't see how Wimmer is part of the problem? Think his form is generally on an upward trajectory amidst a shit side. He was signed because he's the heir to Ryan.

You have just lost the argument when your only retort is to resort to offensive terms describing a disability, now go away and come back when you have adapted to the 21st century.

Some people can not seethe wood for the trees including whoever scouted him, most decent scouts can spot talent even raw ours only seem to see potential which is not the same thing.

If I’ve lost an arguement I had not interest of winning, I couldn’t really give a fuck. The irony of you of all people talking about 21st Century political correctness is laughable, you fucking window licker. (there’s another one for you, sweetheart) Owned cow boy

Our best centre half is on the bench Why split up a relatively well formed partnership from last season and balls it up with the introduction of Wimmer, seems Hughes is trying to justify the fee he paid at the expense of results.
