I see he was on the bench again today as Alaves crashed to another heavy defeat. He went to Mainz last season to get game time and spent most of that loan spell on the bench. One of the most talented players I've seen down at Stoke in a good few years but his career is sadly drifting away, what a crying shame. He doesn't seem to have the mental application to go with the undoubted talent.

As long as he’s on Twitter telling the world what he’s up to he seems happy

No stomach for a fight in reality. Had he stayed and fought for a place he'd have played far more than he has on loan.
I don't even find it sad anymore. His golden spell was clearly the shiny blip in a career that has flattered to deceive at every club he's ever been at.

I’ve always seen it more as a physicality thing rather than a mental one for Bojan (he seemed to have an excellent character). There are plenty of shorter players who are outstanding footballers (Messi, Suarez, Aguero etc etc) who differ from Bojan in that they are tough little beggars who are hard to knock off the ball. Bojan always looks like a boy playing in a mans game.

Without doubt in his purple patch he was the best player I’d seen at Stoke since the 70s So sad it all went to rat shit

Unfortunately he's just nowhere near as good as we all thought he was and wanted him to be.

Clubs like Barcelona don’t let good players go,to be a top class player you need mental strength as well .On is day he was ok,but there were not enough of those.

Started 2 games for them. They seem like a poor side struggling whether he plays or not. Not great to see but hardly writes off his immense quality for us between 2014 and 2016.

Fuck you Rochdale! Yup. For whatever reason I hasn't got the bollocks to make it back to where he was. The fire's well and truly gone.

Seems like he just needs to get angry, if that's even possible.

I sadly and with a heavy heart disagree bud, he was quite obviously good enough on his day, he just wasn't anywhere good enough regularly, I can't just have an odd good day at work with the rest being poor, add to that if I was regularly ringing on sick then I would of thought it would be an issue.

Just goes to show , the modern game is played be some fairly big units if he is looking small in comparison to those around him. You are right though pace is also a big issue - those first couple of yards make all the difference around the penalty box.

Talent is still there, he's fit and has years left in him. Get him back, put him on our bench bollocks to shit loans. Get into his head: that's the managers job, he's got it out of him before.

Bojan’s importance to us is declining. For every window he is on loan at a mediocre club, he becomes less relevant to Sparky and Stoke.
It’s a crying shame he doesn’t learn his trade in the premier league where physicality, speed of action and acclimatisation would naturally happen. In the same way that Lee Grant was patient and is now getting game time, the same would happen with Bojan.
That said, I’ll never forget his creative, dominant performance away at Goodson Park a couple of Christmases ago. He was unstoppable.

The joy of his away goals at Leicester (what a mental) and last season at the London Stadium will live long in the memory. Probably highly unlikely to see him again in the Premier League unfortunately, he just doesn't seem to have any luck what with the injuries and everywhere he goes on loan turns to rat shit. He's a luxury player but every team (which isn't struggling at the bottom) should have room for a little luxury in the eleven, in fact it should be compulsory!

He's miles better on the left than in any kind of central role. I like him but he's only scored one game out of 13. I don't think he can hold a candle to two years ago Bojan to be honest.

I still think Bojan has a role to play he's still deadly in front of goal as natural finisher as I've seen.

Unfortunately, little Bojan is a confidence player who needs a run of games to get him firing (like when he first come here) but is also injury prone - meaning that he is likely to pick up a knock or something before he hits top form, meaning his head drops and he's back to square one.
