I've heard rumours and seen on twitter a few links where stoke are potentially thinking to loan out berahino..
Thoughts? My opinion is the guy is absolute dross and probably wouldn't make it at championship level now. The guy unfortunately is cluless and doesn't know where the goal is, despite enough starts to even look close to scoring.
I would take £5M for him to get something back and get rid come January.
How people can still defend him is beyond me. A striker is paid to score goals, no matter how tough it is. Thats what there paid to do. The guy doesn't even make the right runs.
Yes he got an assist with the Jese goal.. if you can't make a pass 5 yards you shouldn't be playing sunday pub football so that excuse doesn't wash.
Its not the system, as shown by the goal scorers for stoke this season.
The problem is Saido.

I still think that the system has a lot to do with it. Our forwards seem to struggle Tbf aguero would struggle to score goals for us. The ball needs to go down the middle a bit more rather than out to the wings all the time. Just my thoughts though

Of Berahino goes out on loan then Hughes should be sacked.

Leave the guy alone and let him work through it FFS, if he reads some of this negative tripe his confidence will be shot forever!

Leave the guy alone and let him work through it FFS, if he reads some of this negative tripe his confidence will be shot forever! Ha ha what utter bollox! If a player's confidence gets shot by reading social media he really is in the wrong career poor lamb. Such a 'snowflake' comment is laughable.

If you loan out Berahino then you may as well just try and sell him, you are basically saying "you aint good enough"
As we are so short up front we may as well keep him until a better player can be found...........Pretty obvious I guess

If Berahino goes, so should Hughes. Pure economics. If you lose more for the company than you're actually paid, surely it's a no brainier 💷

What gets my goat about Hughes & strikers is that he was a beast of a player & scored goals for fun. So why can,t he coach one or buy one in the same mould very strange i think.

At Blackburn he bought in Santa Cruz, at City he had Bellamy and Fulham he had Dempsey, all very good but with us dross so far!

As it stands he hasn't scored a Premier League goal for god knows how long (is it 2 years?) and we couldn't give him away. However if he goes to the Championship and bangs in a few goals we may have more of a chance of getting some interest. Whichever way you look at it though it's yet another failed big/medium money buy and yet another failed striker which is a big black mark against Hughes. I'm not in the sacking camp yet (partly due to the lack of obvious replacements) and there have been some positive signs this season which may return now we have a couple of home games coming up. However you can't ignore the repetitive problems we seem to be having which have been persistent for a few years now. His failure to get us scoring goals and finding a system to create chances for our strikers and inability to find a striker who can score some goals. His failure to properly organise a defence and our constant weakness from set pieces. And his record with £10m plus signings which is appalling and Wimmer looks to be joining the ever growing list of expensive flops. The case against is growing and isn't knee jerk, this is based over multiple seasons.

He just needs to get his 1st. goal, by whatever means, a fluke off his Arse or whatever, I think he will then go on and score the goals required of his price tag.

It's always good to see Stoke are able to get Fifa to bend to their will and change the loan rules for us.
So I very much doubt Stoke have been looking at loaning him out.
Seems Saido isn't the only one who's clueless is he?

Worst bit of fishing on the Oatcake in years. Quite a few people have suggested it. Which is I agree mental but it's something not being dismissed out of hand by a growing number of folk. The club won't be entertaining it and rightly so but when did that ever matter?

Unfortunately I don't think we could afford one like him these days, if he was magic and could combine, Crouch, Fuller and Walters into one person, for their various size skills and workrate that would do nicely

I'm fairly certain as someone has pointed out above the OP has forgot that there is no longer a loan market.

The problem is he doesn't seem to know how to create chances for them, take the newcastle game for example, if Bera had the chances Joselu had he'd have bagged at least one, all this crap about him being dross by the OP and others is a bit unfair when he gets next to no service.

Yeah I got Jesé mixed up at Arsenal, then remembered he played on the left. So that's one defensive mix up/tap in for a centre forward in the league this season. Hooray for the system.
