3 fucking games .....have you heard yourselves To a man Fair point but I'll wager '3 games' is at least 2 more games than the transfer team saw him play in before we signed him. I hope he comes good as much as anyone but its naïve to expect folks not to have formed and express some kind of view after 3 games.

I hope he comes good as much as anyone but its naïve to expect folks not to have formed and express some kind of view after 3 games. It's naive to expect them to have formed no view. For them to have formed a cast-iron, concrete certain view about him after one good game and two poor ones - reminder that this is a player who is a full international with Champions League experience who made a very encouraging start to his career at one of the country's biggest clubs - is utterly ridiculous.

On a side note it sounds like Ryan is not a definite starter. Not sure how we would play it if there is no Zouma or Ryan.

Hughes says the grass is too long for Wimmer.. So we need a strimmer. Excessive watering at the Bet means Wimmer needs to be a swimmer. So far it has seemed like he actually has been swimming in deep water!

Here's a thought on Kevin Wimmer. I know it's a bit out of leftfield, but bear with me...
Given the news today about him struggling with a hamstring injury, maybe he wasn't fully fit at Newcastle or Bristol City either and had to play because Shawcross and Cameron were unavailable? And maybe that's why he didn't quite perform as well as he did against Man Utd?
Or maybe all you experts are right and he is indeed shit.

However I'm not sure you can or even should attempt to run through even the mildest of hamstring injuries full stop, it just tightens up in a horrible way as soon as you lengthen your stride and you risk more serious damage.

Going to earn his corn this week, will have to take charge, in a way might be a good thing in the long run, if he plays.

He clearly picked up a knock in the first half on Tuesday, so much so, as saido was warming up, we thought it would be him going off. Maybe (hopefully) that goes someway towards explaining why he played so badly from the half hour mark onwards on Tuesday.

Wimmer is Roy Hodgson's favourite Red Dwarf character.

Can't believe we seem to have written this player off after so few games.
Me, I'm waiting to see how things pan out.

Dunno whether his lack of training this week was a major factor (must have played some part), but to say he was poor is being generous.

Has a worrying trait of ball watching. Doesn't seem to anticipate danger. I know it's early days but he doesn't fill me with a great deal of confidence.

Not impressed with his performance today at all Looks very dicey to me, not sure ball playing CB's are Hughes's forte along with strikers and midfielders, could be he is not up to speed, fit etc. the same old excuses rolled out time and time again when our signings struggle to erm settle in.
