Until about the 8th or 10th game.
Until the transfer window dust settles.
Until I see our formation and line up.
Until then, there is only hope and faith.
Anything less is disrespectful to those paid to do their jobs.
Those who until now, have done an overall pretty good job.
Let's just see where we end up.
Dry knickers are a benefit. Some of you need to wring them out and hang them on the washing line.

I'll make my "review" after 19 games. I anticipate Stoke being below halfway in the league, but in good state to give it a good old push for the rest of the season. Finish top half.
It's our year for a cup also.

I won't judge Hughes until after 6 games.

That's what my head tells me, however I am starting to get the odd occasional twinge. Would really like to see a couple in soon just to settle things down.

I won't judge Hughes until after 6 games. I admire your self restraint. You can really last 6 games? And seriously, you will judge Les after our first 6 games? You have seen the fixture list?

You have seen the fixture list? 6 games is very fair. Do you think Coates will give him longer? With the season we've just had? No. We can't afford to piss around this season.

I don't buy the argument that's we've got a tough start, we've been in the league a bastard decade now, we aren't the underdogs anymore.

Before he even starts to think about a replacement.

Before he even starts to think about a replacement. 19 games? That will take us to late December, specifically West Brom at home. So, what happens if we are rock bottom, which is 100% a possibility. Then what? We sack Hughes. As the new manager got enough time to improve the squad? Rescue us? 19 games is suicidal.

No matter how far the nail is hammered into the head on here that we are shit, useless and are going down I will always believe before the start of a new season. It might well turn to shit but then again, it might not. That's football hey. A simplistic view but one that's better for the sanity.

There's absolutely no doubt that Peter Coates will give him longer than six games. He's already given him 18 months grace and £60 million how much more does he need.

Real men don't wear knickers owed un, knickers are for girls duck ! not knicker wetting just real concern about the way Les is taking us, since deciding Wolf shit was a better option than Huth I lost any faith I had in him which he has compounded signing shit players ever since.

Expecting a rocky start.... But the most exciting season since the first in the prem for me.
So long as the yongsters get a fair shot and we get behind them then for me its the first season that hasnt been some form of rinse repeat/incremential change.

I would have let him go in the summer . Football is about momentum and from the bits I see as a fan he has lost it.
Obviously the people at the club know a lot more than me and feel he can keep the team up again this season which is what really counts as they try to get more young players through.
I think he is safe unless it looks like we are in danger of relegation at Christmas. If we are expect a Big Sam charm offensive and the sudden discovery of the magic money tree .

If we start badly, I think the crowd will be after him from the get go. The patience went last season.
