Yes of course, its not even a discussion point, he is light years ahead of anyone we currently have in his position.
Anyone who pretends to think otherwise is either on a wind up has been out in the sun for too long without a hat.
Arsenal in for him according the The Sun.

If he's really leaving then there will be lots of takers and we are unlikely to be the most attractive

Absolutely yes.
Sadly West Ham will be in for him just like every other player on the planet.
He'll probably end up at Everton or dare I say Arsenal?

Cue the usual naysayers spraying piss because he is not 'world class'... NEWSFLASH - we need a couple of decent centre halves, and he is better than what we have got.

He is quick and he gets his body in between the player and the ball. He's decent and would be a good signing for us.
Of course he is no where near the level of a proper centre half like mike doyle or dennis smith. But apparently that's normal these days and nobody is.

Just what we need- a Center Half who will miss half the season with an In growing eyelash. If Mourinho has seen fit to question his commitment then that's enough for me.

I like the thought of Smalling/Jones/Terry alongside Bruno and Ryan in a back three. Couple of quality midfielders (holding/creative) to complement the back 3 and we are sorted

Seriously though I don't think a 3 at the back suits Ryan at all - it could be solely due to the complete lack of cover infront of him but he looks like a fish out of water in this formation

He questioned Hazard's commitment and he looks fuckin' brilliant to me. What does that say about Hazard other than I will choose who I play for? Mourinho knows how to win with some diverse teams- does Hazard? No - it says Mourihno can't always get the best out of a very good player. He has one way of working and that's going round lighting fires and sees who can stand the heat. He also said Arnautovic was "unmanageable" when clearly he isn't. Just that Mourihno - supposedly The Special One - couldn't manage him when even our much maligned Mark Hughes clearly can. Yes he gets results short term but usually by spending a kings ransom rather than by coaching - after that he generally leaves under a cloud leaving a trail of destruction and very little in the way of structural or organizational legacy. Conte turned a bunch of Mourihnos underachievers into title winners - by getting the best out of Hazard, turning Aspilacueta into a Ccentral defender, bringing Moses and Alonso into the fold and the addition of Kante - all things that Mourihno would never have done.. Mourihno - despite chucking money at it - finished in a lower league position that in either of Van Gaals two seasons at United and only one place higher than Moyes.
