Still keep coming back to the same challenge, who can we get who is better? Not a member of the usual manager merry go round, someone insperational capable of building a team that can defend and score, with Premier League experience. Few and far between. Hughes started well and progressed to being ok, spending a lot of money on the journey backwards. My only offering is Mancini, beyond that I am stuck Mancini would show REAL intent by the club that we mean business in this league An appointment of that calibre would only do great things for bet365 as well Burt as well as a handsome salary, Mancini and most other experienced "top managers" would want lots and lots to spend Can't see that happening It is all about managing expectations but I am disappointed that Hughes shows little emotion in his (now very predictable) press conferences. A bit of the passion he showed as a player would be good to see

That P&P was embarrassing.
I'm not happy with Hughes management but, nearly all those that phoned in tonight were quivering dildo's
Shit like that won't sway Coates
I've had enough of Hughes but, the reasons that came out tonight were cringe worthy

Yeah but Robbie Savage has watched us for 30 seconds this season and thinks Stoke fans are the idiots Who do I believe? Savage - he's played the game and knows what he's about - fans can vote with their feet if they don't like what they are paying to see as is the case with all forms of entertainment. That doesn't mean that those who provide the entertainment necessarily have to have a knee-jerk reaction to Joe Public -- which after all is what the fans reaction is.

He was never particularly good and he would say black was white if it meant sticking up for Sparky, he loves the bloke Fact is we haven't been good enough, and saying unhappy Stoke fans need their heads checking is ridiculous, we have every right to be pissed off at how poor we've been Savage would rim Hughes even if he was taking us down, which if something doesn't change might be a real possibility next season

I've been saying for over a month he can go for me. Yes, I wanted Pulis out and I put forward a viable alternative who got the job and improved us despite minimal initial investment. Now it's time for another change as he appears to have lost the plot. Give us a name. It's not the job of the fans to suggest replacements. It's the job of the board to select a new manager if the see fit to get rid of Hughes. Why are people so obsessed with fans suggesting a successor? Just because they don't, does it make their opinion less valid? If they know so much about football management that they DEMAND the removal of the present manager (presumably on the basis that he's used up all the credit of his first 3 seasons), then they should at least have some idea of the managerial credentials (experience, success record, age, nationality) that they require in the new manager (even if they can't put a name to him).

Supporter discontent and questions of the management. just saying what happened mate. What else is an indicator then of discontent? Majority of our board Hughes out I would say as well as the empty seats Can't be arsed at the moment mate but P&G has always been the same. Numbnuts craving fifteen minutes of fame. The atmosphere today was subdued because guess what, no goals. We played them off the park, created loads (whilst trying too hard to walk it in and over elaborate). The should have and could haves of nogger. Again no shit on Hughes' shoes today for me. Folk need to get some minerals as far as I'm concerned.

They have spent £180million on new footballers in 3 years.... And made how much by selling Lambert, Lallana, Shaw, Clyne, Lovren, Wanyama, Pelle and Mane? You forgot Schneiderlin and a few others which covers 180 million spent however they've not spent anything like 180 million and still have a better team than us.

Don't we have a chief executive on a near seven figure salary who's job it is to find a replacement for Hughes? Why are people so obsessed in saying that you're no allowed to want Hughes out unless you can name an alternative. Southampton never seem to have any problem finding decent managers from abroad. Southampton spend more money on footballers than Stoke City yet are on the same points as 'shit' Stoke City. If you want Hughes out, and for me he can go, I'm not bothered, then at least offer a viable alternative. IMO if you don't you're just bleating like supporters we used to despise. Bollocks. They also bring in a lot of money through their young talent. Hughes wouldn't know what a talented kid looks like.

People are obsessed with finding fault in Hughes after every game, win, lose or draw. We didn't win today because players did not take their chances in front of goal, and we were somewhat unlucky, how is that Hughes fault? We didn't lose because of some fantastic goal keeping by Butland, yet people moaned about Grant being benched... Hughes cannot win.

Blackburn fans were delighted to see the back of Big Sam. His replacement, Steve Kean, had Champions League ambitions!
Stoke could easily go the same way.
I may be in a minority but I'm just happy to be playing in the Prem.

Their keeper had to do far far more.

It should be, each seat at the Brit should come with a unique code to put in to an app, a simple app with 2 options, "in" and "out" if over 75% of the ground has voted out by the end of the game the current manager should get tazed, tarred and feathered and thrown out of the ground Just my 2 cents

On a side note thought the Dave Sull and Gold rollerskates parked up outside were pure comedy. And fucking infuriating. It was a form of entrapment really, I certainly felt the urge. 'You've had your day out, now pay yer tax'. Etc.
