So he should be.
We are toothless and have about as much creativity as a dead frog.

Acres of empty seats at kick off. Half the ground empty by the final whistle.
People are voting with their feet.

Its like the Charlton argument... I remember thinking Nigel Adkins getting the sack was crazy...Look who they appointed!

Still keep coming back to the same challenge, who can we get who is better?
Not a member of the usual manager merry go round, someone insperational capable of building a team that can defend and score, with Premier League experience.
Few and far between. Hughes started well and progressed to being ok, spending a lot of money on the journey backwards.
My only offering is Mancini, beyond that I am stuck

I seriously think that Hughes Should stay and will definitely turn it around. There will be some quality signings in the summer I think Hughes knows where the problems are and will solve them.

Don't we have a chief executive on a near seven figure salary who's job it is to find a replacement for Hughes? Why are people so obsessed in saying that you're no allowed to want Hughes out unless you can name an alternative.
Southampton never seem to have any problem finding decent managers from abroad.

He's known about many problems for 2 windows and has caused more problems than he's solved What evidence is there to suggest next season will be any different?

Southampton spend more money on footballers than Stoke City yet are on the same points as 'shit' Stoke City. If you want Hughes out, and for me he can go, I'm not bothered, then at least offer a viable alternative. IMO if you don't you're just bleating like supporters we used to despise.

Ultimately his signings are what are killing him right now, Imbula et al have caused him massive issues and he is struggling with that. The money spent should be getting better return and it's not, to the point he relies on the old guard to help, even though he has spent all that money trying to replace them. That is what is causing this mess. I don't believe there is a better standard of manager that will come to Stoke, Coates knows that (especially as I don't believe he would recruit a non British manager), but does anyone trust Hughes with a big summer transfer window?. And that is a big issue whichever way you look at it!

I think an appointment like Mancini would really inspire the fans Pugs. Would signal a new direction at the very least. I feel we are a bit directionless at the moment. I know why you are angry it's like we've become Arsenal moaning all the time, but I feel the club is just drifting right now..in the wrong direction

Hard to argue this, it really is , which is so unfortunate I'm not happy about the situation, I like Hughes but his management is baffling Letting him stay would be like asking a Builder to rebuild a Garage that's just fallen down, a garage that said builder built a couple of months ago We're not looking like we've turned a corner, we're progressively doing worse against teams below us and Hughes isn't getting the memo
