I am really interested to see how this situation pans out ? Went on loan to Brentford , fell out with everyone , started slagging off manager Uwe rossler on social media and had to have his loan terminated Went back to west brom , fell out with everyone , started slagging off Jeremy peace on social media and had to be sold sounds a total tool , but he has some ability , and could come good one day ?? maybe ? Brave call by sparky ... hope it works out !! another one.... Yep there's a few that are starting to line up hoping to be proved wrong It's the not giving them a chance in the first place that sticks in my throat

Name me a player that left SCFC under the management of Tony Pulis who went on to equal or greater things in their career You're quite right, he did ruin a lot of players. What a spiteful reply. Which players did he ruin? Better still try and answer the original point

Unpopular no doubt but in my opinion he ruined Dave Kitson, who has always been unfairly maligned on this board. Playing Kitson in defence in a league cup match was shameful. This isn't to say TP didn't (according to his lights) work hard and achieve a great deal for Stoke. Back to the subject I hope SB gets his act together and justifies MH's faith in him. I'd like to see him work in conjunction with Bojan but I guess it's not going to happen.

The way I look at this whole situation is we've got a proven premier league goal scorer that's English and still young for 15m. Fulham paid 11m then Villa paid 12m for Ross McCormack whose now 30 and has a bad attitude, refusing to play. And this is championship level. These footballers are just rich spoilt kids. So let's just hope he keeps us happy by smashing in the goals and we could have a bargain on our hands.

I saw the post headlines and went to page 4 by mistake first followed by page 5. By time I read the posts on these pages, I began to think this is like most posts "nothing to do with original post, but arguing". Grow up guys and girls please and relate to the original post.

We're obviously the "stepping stone" move but that doesn't bother me if he performs like N'Zozni did for example. Bang in the goals and I'll be happy Saido !! I'm not so sure, he seems to think that we can get into the Europa league and if that happens I will donate my left nut to coconut stall lol....Thinking more long term he finds his old form alot of players will want play along side him, were a few defenders away from a really really solid squad....And better players in the future will start to think Stoke is a positive move rather than us being the last chance saloon.

Would it have made the slightest difference if he had been? He did nothing but whine and make excuses. Dave Kitson's poor attitude ruined Dave Kitson.

Is it my poor memory but wasn't Kitson playing alright and scoring a few goals before he was then dropped?
Same with Jones, I'm sure he was playing alright and scoring before being dropped.

MH on Saido Berahino... Saido hasn't stopped smiling to be honest. He is really excited to be here, and he will be in the squad on Wednesday. He has trained every day and looks really sharp. We have been really encouraged by what we have seen in training. His movement is tremendous. His work is of a high level, but he still has a bit of a way to go to get right up to speed. He will certainly play a part from us, and we don't envisage it being too long until he is able to come through 90 minutes. I am not sure why he was deemed not fit at West Brom because for us, he looks in good shape.
MH on Saido Berahino's strengths... I was speaking to him after a session the other day, because his quality of runs were excellent. It was actually the rest of the team who needed to get used to what he can do, because we haven't had anybody who can make runs like he can for a long, long time. We want to be able to release him in behind, and maybe that is something we are going to have to work on, because he has attributes that can really help improve us. When he gets right up to speed then he is going to be a very good player for us.

You could be right mate but you'd think Shaq and Arnie would be just the fellas to pick out a run. Added to that we've got Adam who can pick a pass. Seen Imbula slot a ball through too. Maybe more dynamic movement will help unlock more from him. We (on paper) should have sufficient supply. Obv no going back, who knows what'll happen, 15 games Bojan break. He could be back as Saido starts to click. Fingers crossed. Football ain't it, I think this loan is best all round at the moment. Far better than a struggling and potentially sulking situation.

I think any questions about his character can be put on hold after his apologies to West Brom's supporters, which I thought were very classy.

Possibly, but I think getting Shaq clicking with Berahino is key. When he cuts inside onto his left, he's the best passer of the ball we have. He finds Arnie 2/3 times a game with his vision and ability.
