Any ITK's or CW stalkers know how he is fitting in with the squad... I really have a good feeling about this lad, and could be a masterstroke by LMH...

Not really related to fitting in the squad, but a lad i work with grew up with him at the same school ect. He said when he was young he was a nice guy, but as he started moving through the ranks at WBA he turned into a tool.
Another thing he said is that he hangs around with some characters you shouldn't really be associating with in Birmingham. Not sure if i fully believe that part though.

Don't footballers nowadays generally hang out with a load of tools?

Makes you wonder if they have some sort of hold on them, there were rumours that Gerrard was in some way mixed up with some gangster types in Liverpool to the extent that they blocked a move to Chelsea, maybe blackmail, intimidation, protection racketeering, who knows, but it is certainly not uncommon... Wasn't our very own Ryan Shotton mixed up with some of SoT's less favorable sorts...

He's fitting in well, I saw him getting a backie on Butland's motorised scooter in Hanley on Tuesday, I said hello and told them how surprised I was to see them in the Potteries Shopping Centre and they both told me after some soul searching they realised that players in such a fortunate position should put all their money into the local economy and that they'd never shop anywhere else again.
I followed them out and as Butland steered into Goodwins for a steak bake he turned round to me and said "Don't worry fella, there'll be no more of these when I'm back in training"
We all had a chuckle and went out separate ways.....

I think that when Pulis said that he surrounds himself with bad characters he was referring to his agent and advisers. Berahino himself lives in a big house just outside of Cannock (two doors up from my workmate) with his Sister and family. No idea where the supposed gang attachments have come from. He's been known to have quite a few big parties/BBQs in the summer but they've all been a typical big African family type affair, certainly no signs of dodgy characters coming and going.

Club has been hosting the Premier League enterprise event for schools this week. Saido came along yesterday to net the kids - he is the only player in everyone else off until Friday. No media so he didn't have to put on a show but he really engaged with the kids, stayed longer than he needed to and really blew them away. Seems to be really happy to be here. Has been training on his own, had today off and back in with the full squad tomorrow

I have been ever so reliably informed on here that Saido has a terrible attitude and is a bad apple. Surely he is only training on his own because everyone knows he will 'upset the dressing room'. I bet his engagement with the kids was to sell them drugs for his gang-mates too.

Did it himself spontaneously, no media around so nothing in it for him, and he then tweeted wishing the school representing Stoke good luck, again off his own back. club very pleased about his attitude

To be fair, Tone does know a dodgy character when he sees one....usually in the mirror first thing every morning
