Watched his interview on sky earlier. He's a young lad who made a mistake and West Brom never let him forget it. For what ever reason pulis continued the bullying. Delighted to be away and chuffed we ended his nightmare. He comes across a genuine lad Hope he repays us. I think he will in spades I liked what pulis did for us but i wonder if With Berahino was west brom fans favourite when pulis took over , pulis wanted a big man upfront and it didnt suit Tony's style and with pulis being stubborn in his footballing ways he turned the fans against him and manipulated him. Perhaps i read too much into things and i make 2+2 =5 I think as with all these things, we just don't know what the truth is, and who's to blame for what, about whatever happened at WBA. And there is no real point in spending time and emotional energy speculating about it. What we do know is that in the past he has shown real talent and that our manager clearly thinks he's worth a big outlay, despite whatever happened at WBA and his lack of any game time recently. Let's all forget about WBA from now on and hope that he does too, and that he plays to his undoubted ability for us.

Being a quality striker himself I'am sure Hughes will pass on some tips and help the lad develop his game...If he gets his head down and works hard, Saido can help take us to the promised land...Then again I got a Hard- on when we signed Shaq.... So time will tell. PS get yourself a woman 😀

Here we go again transferring the sins of one man onto another to suit an agenda. Berahino has to deal with what he did because, well, he did it.
He has played an absolute blinder so far with us though. Everything he's done has been class, I hope he's the same on the pitch!

At least the lad himself takes responsibility for his actions which is more than the Pulis obsessed lunatics on here can.

Appears to be a well-grounded, humble young man - I thought he handled the line of questioning with a good deal of maturity. Good luck, Saido - now show the world what you can do...

We're obviously the "stepping stone" move but that doesn't bother me if he performs like N'Zozni did for example. Bang in the goals and I'll be happy Saido !!

Have to say, I think Saido handled this news conference very well and dealt diplomatically with some of the more probing questions about what went on at WBA. He could be a politician . Well done Saido! He's winning me over. All he has to do now is start bangin' 'em in!

He did the same with kitson and tuncay and probably afew other's Except Saido being in The WBA badbooks preceded Pulis' arrival. It wasn't Tone's grudge to bear. He had every incentive to play the Svengali role he does so well. He was West Brom manager when Newcastle bid 21 million for him

I wish him well and I hope that he does brilliantly well for us and makes a name for himself.
I've got to say though, I was never in favour of this deal and I really don't think he will turn out to be the saviour of this fine club, as many fans seem to think.
I hope I'm wrong.

You continually use the word "fact or factual" in numerous threads relating to TP. or where threads are manipulated to continually undermine an individuals credibility. and honesty Words frequently used like "toxic". Why not let us all know what the "facts" are as surely "facts" can't be used in any form litigation

12m > 15m is a regular premier league signing these days (especially for a striker) , worth a punt as he's still early twenties and as already shown he can do it when in the right shape.
