Before I start I want to answer my own question by saying I really hope not. However it's not just the fact we're bottom even if it is after only 4 games, it's the actual run of form since January and the manner of some of the defeats. Our confidence is apparently lower than a worms arse, no apparent fight in the team and the manager seems to think we're better than we really are. Gouranga.

Can't see it really, but our performances are a concern.

That's reassuring that you really hope Stoke don't get relegated. I'd like to add that I really hope Stoke don't get relegated either.
Any other Stoke fans hope we don't get relegated?

Not at all
Villa were in terminal decline for years Same could be said of Newcastle and Sunderland.
We are well run, no real turmoil behind the scenes and we will soon turn it around.
When you are in poor form any small problems get magnified
We will be fine

I'd argue Sunderland are more likely to become this seasons Villa. Watched Everton paste them last night. Sunderland were absolutely terrible. We were very unlucky not to at least draw when we played the the Toffees and that was at Goodison, the Mackems were at home last night. We've got a great squad, a squad that can compete with the likes of Everton who are currently 3rd in the table. I'm hoping this poor start is the kick in the arse that Hughes and the squad need to get going, and force Hughes to look at our approach to games at home a bit differently.

I think a better comparison would be Middlesbrough in the 2008/09 season.

I still think we'll be ok, but we shouldn't take anything for granted or get complacent.
We need a scrappy 1-0 to turn the tide.

Is this simply ...
1. your personal opinion?
or are you
2. suggesting that you have personal inside knowledge of what's going on at the club?
Cheers
