It might rain tomorrow, but also it might not. Coates isn't daft he wont let it get too serious. Loyalty is non existent in football if one of them big jobs were offered to hughes last season he'd of been offski. When you have players like bojan krkic, arnautovic and the rest our form over 6 month is embarrasing. He's not getting the best out of a talented group of individuals and coates even knows it. Someone could come in and make nojan the player he without doubt is. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz fucking drone on

Anyone with an ounce of common sense would use two direct wingers in the proper manner and put bojan tight to bony or a targetman and start getting some crosses in then tell bojan to drop deeper when the ball is out of posession so he can bring it forward when we win it back
Q) Why do you continue doing the same thing when it clearly is not working?
A) you don't

I had an 'Oh no' feeling When Stoke announced Macron were taking over our kit deal after Villa struggled under them for the last few seasons. As did Bolton who even have the stadium named after them! Palace another Macron wearing team were getting pulled down towards the drop zone last season too & were lucky not to get relegated. Hopefully all a case of Dodgy coincidence than Macron being a relegation curse, guess by May we'll find out!!

The club didn't obsess over Berahino - this board obsessed over Berahino. The club made an offer that wasn't accepted and walked away. As to Bony not being a credible Plan A - are you kidding? Berahino my well have potential but Bony is a proven Premiership quality goal scorer - Plan A+ as far as I can see. In terms of only getting him on transfer deadline day we don't know when he became available and when the club and the player wanted to make the decision. Butland was setup to play the opening game - the true extent of the injury only came to light very late in the day. And the club did the best they could in the time available knowing that a top draw goalie was never going to come in when Butland would be back as first choice in a couple of months time. We're now moving from writing agendas to the re-writing of history to fit those agendas. Its getting like an episode of the X Files on here. You want to re-read my post mate - I actually said that Wilf **was indeed** a (better) & highly credible plan "A" IMHO - but due to the Berahino situation was rushed in at the death - & I don't agree with your take on the club not obsessing - Coates & Hughes made a number of media statements over a protracted period in an attempt to up the ante on West Brom which ultimately failed - they should have unequivocally closed the door earlier than they did. Accept your point on Butland BUT following the Haugaard situation last season was obvious we needed better quality cover and any risk assessment of worth would have revealed the potential for Butland to have recurrent issues or delays to full recovery. So no agenda here pal - I'm not clever enough! Apologies - I misread what you said about Bony. I thought you meant the club should have a had a credible Plan A rather than going for Bony. My mistake. I still disagree about Berahino. The club made an offer, there was always the possibility that West Brom might change their mind up until the transfer deadline and I'm pretty sure the Bony deal wasn't just cooked up on the last day - knowing the Berahino situation they would have been talking to other clubs and players well before the last day. Bony was pretty much part of Plan A - which wasn't just looking at one striker. The goal keeper situation was never going to be easy. Haugaard was clearly thrown in too early and may never make the grade. Up until quite late in the day it looked like we had Butland ready to go and a fit Given as backup. They were never going to attract quality cover into that situation - particularly as by Xmas they would probably be surplus to requirements. They ended up doing the best they could in the circumstances.

Short of writing 'I'm shit' in felt tip pen across each of the players foreheads before each match I don't see what more we could have done to ensure a bad season

I finally came 'face to face' with the Macron training wear at the Spurs game (missed Man City)
As big a pile of shit you would struggle to find on Wass's market - Vile designs and awful quality

I've avoided coming on here this week.
Is it just me or is this the most ridiculous thread title ever?
Maybe I am the mental one, but the idea that we will go through the entire season and win just two games is the most self-defeating preposterous bollocks I have read on here for some time.
I worry that if we are in a relegation battle some of our lot don't have the bottle. However, whatever my doubts about some of our flair players and big name signings, they clearly have more bottle than a significant proportion of our fans. If our players had the same mentality as many of those who frequent this messageboard we would have been relegated a long time ago.

I think you will be fine, I really can't see you being in a relegation fight. Hughes is a good manager and you've got a great squad. Like last season (I believe you were in a similar position) you managed to do alright in the end.

A million quid says you're wrong. You dont have a million quid Edited the post aboveĀ I can absolutely confirm there is more chance of Kate moss a d Naomi Campbell inviting me for a sleep over than there is if Eddie Howe coming to stoke . He has absolutely zero interest . However I've said before the short list will have two Dorset post codes on it .
