I think we should show some support for Berahino when he visits in a few weeks . ( if he is included). The fall out is mainly with Peace? The tactics to hold on to him until the very end has backfired. Listening to Coates yesterday, we already had secured Bony for the season I agree we should welcome him to the Brit. Imagine if he gets a penalty against us and kicks it into the Boothen

I don't think we've got much chance of signing him now, other clubs may have been put off by the size of the fee when he only had one year left on his contract but now that the options are
1) go abroad for free
2) be sold at a reduced rate in January
3) see out his contract until the end of the season and have the fee decided by a tribunal (if he stays in the Premier League)
I'd expect there to be a lot more clubs interested in signing him.

6k comments - WBA player 2k comments - Sobhi signing 1.5k comments - Allen signing seems we have more interest in WBA than our own new signings!!! lol The larger volume of comments were based on a 'prospective' player as were the others at the time. I don't think they represent ANY interest whatsoever in WBA, merely one of their players - the Berahino thread, as I remember some (but not all) of it, rarely mentioned any other player and in most cases mentioned just the chairman and manager who were equal participants (or non-participants) in the saga. Also the length of the Sobhi thread represented the geography and foreign elements of the deal whilst Allen was short as none of us knew it was really on.

I will find all this hilarious with WBA once we beat them in a couple of weeks, until then I'll keep schtum as we all know Tone has a nasty habit of overturning his old clubs

When referring to the situation last night the 'super agent' jon smith seemed to suggest every thing has been planned out with the buying club the foreign club agent and player.
I'd say there is quite a big chance he will end up here so no one should be booing him when wba visit

Just thought it might be time to dust off the perennial thread again. Have there been any indications of any recent interest at all from anybody in signing this Guy?
