Wonder if they'll get a safety certificate for the new ground capacity?

let's be fair, it's a completely different "them". It wasn't fans who were managing our cup tie. We got support from the "Spirit of Shankly", the main fans group, on our complaints I suspect we achieved more than appears to be the case from these notes but the proof of the pudding is, of course, in the eating I hope you achieved more because the notes prove that you achieved nothing. I don't think they "prove" anything. For this kind of meeting they rarely do. Incidentally, did you send us a statement, and consider responding to our request for volunteers to give up the time to go to Liverpool for the meeting ?

You and I have in common that neither of us were either in the crush or at the meeting. The 2 Stoke fans there were at both. As I said above one was perhaps less happy than the other about the responses received but neither of them, nor our experienced caseworker who was also in the meeting, felt that it was a waste of time going or that no practices will change.

One positive thing about the meeting happening at all is if a similar incident occurs in the future and someone is hurt LFC can't possibly claim they knew nothing about the possibility. It is staggering that a club of their size, for whom every home game is a major event, are so slap dash to have problems at turnstiles.
