What are the average prices for taxis from the palfrey to the ground, anyone know ? Shouldn't be more than a fiver. Just get dropped off at Doncaster done to avoid congestion. Ground is within walking distance from there.

Nath you are right it is miles away . I would suggest getting into the town asap and you will then access all that it has to offer and for a pre-match drink it has the lot. Then you have access to the big pubs and yes there are loads of those and a £5 taxi fare to the ground itself.
My advice is get to the place that has the most pubs and the most taxis and therefore affords you the most time with the least energy and cost on the day. Oh and with the weather already on the turn here you won't catch your deaths. The town and it's pubs can easily lose 4000+ Stokies especially with the racegoers and our own support in the town.

That's my intention, any idea for the best place for a good full English breakfast from the station? and then it's onto the 'cask corner' www.caskcornerbar.co.uk/ to try some good ale, then probably a wetherspoons

What's the craic for fans arriving by train? We will be getting in to Doncaster about 10.45ish. Is the station in or near the town centre? If it is, our plan was to drink around town then taxi or walk to the ground from there, if possible? www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Cask+Corner/@53.5096654,-1.1459032,14z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0000000000000000:0xf87d97e5cccd1190

If you're going by train, town centre is walking distance literally across the dual carriageway from the station and you're there wouldn't bother with a taxi.

Hello everyone First can I introduce myself I am the Supporter Liaison Officer at Doncaster Rovers. I am here just to post a quick message and some information regarding your visit to the Keepmoat Stadium. On Saturday the Stoke City fans will be allocated our North Stand, which holds around 3,300 fans. Once you have arrived at the Keepmoat there will be food and drink available in the ground. If you would like a drink and pie before you enter the ground, then the away fans are welcome in the Belle Vue Bar (named after our former ground) which is located at the West Stand. We have some fantastic offers available of a pie & a pint for just £5 or 2 pints for £6! You can also try our very own Doncaster Rovers beer! Also known as Rovers1879. Here is a link to our away fans guide that was produced by the club with information regarding the Keepmoat and the surrounding areas. If you have time it is well worth a read. www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/documents/drfc-awaysupportersguide110-2829634.pdfIf you have any questions then please get in touch the email address is supporterliaison@doncasterroversfc.co.uk . Or you can tweet me at @drfc_away. Thank you for your time, I hope to see you on Saturday and that you all have a safe journey. Kind Regards Dean Medcalf Supporter Liaison Officer Doncaster Rovers FC Thanks for taking the time to post the information. Just one question - I hope you don't have a clown with a f**king drum. I'm just watching (hoping) Exeter play the Dippers and all you can hear is thud thud thud..
