We're the single worst attacking team in the division, measured by goals. You don't give a shit? How on earth are you making a season-long concern about "one game"? We're doing well. Very well in fact. Better than in both our last two record breaking seasons prior. We're in the last 8 of the cup too. Pass me the noose quick.... Again all of that is addressed in the OP!

It's been a problem for years. There's no need for knee-jerk reactions based on one game. As you say, we'll be fine. Probably even better than the last two record breaking seasons. We can talk about it being a problem though surely?

Again all of that is addressed in the OP! So its a pretty pointless thread then? Probably shit bin it. Only if people don't want to discuss why we're not scoring goals? Which is pretty poor considering it's an issue that needs sorting. But this place and debate seems dead at the minute. Nobody wants to hang themself or any that childish bollocks, it's a salient point for discussion.

Absolutely. It's been talked about for years. I don't think it's the same old problem stretching back to Pulis. Of course you wouldn't. That would be mean you changing your mind or admitting you were wrong. Which has never happened. Ever.

If you don't creat chances you don't score goals,we the lack of a out and out goal scorer your midfield or very expensive wingers need to chip in.

Even lower than Pulis' West Brom?

Its all good having possession but only if we play forward rather than side to side. Leicester are a perfect example of how we should be playing, We'll give the ball away more but we'll score more.

Something else I'm going to have to slowly and patiently explain to you with crayons and hand puppets. Under Pulis we didn't score enough goals generally because we were unduly negative. It was part of the plan. Under Hughes we're positive and have way more creative talent but for a number of reasons can't seem to create many chances. Same problem, different reasons, yes?

"Absolutely bizarre reaction" is the correct wording. It only happens when we lose. Last week all the talk was about how we are one of the form teams in the entire league, into the last 8 of the cup and doing better than we have at this point in our previous two record breaking seasons. Lose a game and the tripe gets spouted again. Repeat to fade.

I think that's a very simplistic way of looking at things (shock). The red was shit for both sides and we were insipid long before the sending off. It's possible to raise the lack of goals as a concern without being a benji biscuit doom mongerer.

The red card and why we aren't scoring enough goals are totally unrelated. We can expect bad decisions and to concede goals. They only become factors when we aren't banging them in at the other end.

Would you prefer it the other way round? Or do you just not want anything discussed at all? If you have a valuable point to make it would be good if you can get to it.

Yes, there is a problem with not being prolific enough. That was evident last week. It has been evident for a while. I believe when our attacking players click we will put that problem right. I am no more concerned after today than I was prior.

We had nearly 64% possession throughout though! As we walked the ball and tried to will it in mind you...

I have an issue with the negative response after one defeat like it's a completely new issue, or that we are somehow doomed. You need to accept that some people have different opinions to yours. Some people even enter debates with open minds. Some people even change their minds once in a while and hold their hands up.
