Don't underestimate the value of Ryan's presence today against that bellsniff, Mitrovic...

Shaqiri's best game to date. The substitution seemed rather baffling, should of taken Walters off instead of Shaqiri. Would of taken a point at the start of the match, so a good result in my book.

Can't argue with a point. Goal scoring seems to be an issue though

Good point, wank performance. I can't believe how little we create with the talent we have on the pitch, very frustrating,

I though we looked (PREDICTABLY) very leggy towards the end and, some of the players coming on, weren't immediately running around like their lives depended on it
All in all a satisfactory week BUT we needed more legs in the team second half and for some inexplicable reasoning, our manager either - didnt put them on soon enough
or, left it far too late for my liking
Ireland for Bojan shoud've been first sub - then, Van Ginkel for Adam then, Afellay based upon what Ive been seeing

Shaqiri was the best outfield player today. Bojan was poor again and Walters offered nothing but was very isolated, happy with a point though.

A great point today, I think shaqiri coming off was about hanging on to the point rather than trying to get all 3, using crouches ability to hold the ball up. Happy with the performance overall .

Good solid point off a bottom of the table rival woodland take thar all day long 8 games to get 7 poked now to meet the half way target very very tough given they include Chelsea , Man Utd , Man City , Everton Palace and Southampton but for today you woken take it and it's not today or I'm the nedt seven we have made our first half so tough .
Player wise neither bojan or Shaq would start for Me next week but Cameron , Walters , shawcross , Adam Diof all would against a wounded Chelsea

Just read through the second half comments and honestly feel shaq is getting away with murder on here.
He did two things in the second half and everyone's buzzing of him but besides that he was a petulant liability.
Never tracked, pulled outta tackles, constantly drifted out of position but did nothing in the centre, slowed down lots of attacks, gave bojan / affelay no options...
If he was a freebie he'd be battling it out with odom for the last spot on the bench.
Mama shoulda been brough on and him or Walters right wing after 60.

It's a point.
Walters had a couple of chances missed, but found good areas. Imagine Diouf will be back in soon.
Afellay must be working his ass of in training as he is always coming in before Ireland.

Don't get the satisfactory week point though a Micky movie cup win is no make up for 1 point from 6 against Watford and Newcastle when we needed 4 to make up for our torrid start .
Still way below the required running. Rate on points and performances given the next seven games but I reiterate good point today .

It would be interesting to look back at all the flack Wolly took, now coming into his own
Bojan not yet up to full fitness and signs that Shaqiri is beginning to acclimatise to the Premier League. Great to see Ryan back. Delighted with the point, Jack should get a bonus.

Shaq's gradually getting up to speed, some adapt quicker than others. We can't write off our most expensive player after 11 games...

They way I see it is one defeat away from home this season at Arsenal is fantastic, in the QF of the league cup with a very winnable fixture, home form has been poor but will pick up as it did last season! Oh and our captain is back!

Would always take a point away from home, but the performance was dreadful, utterly toothless in attack for the 4th game running

Hard earned point but don't forget 6 of the team played 2 hours this week and 2 others almost a full game. Without Diouf we will always struggle in attack, worthy as Walters is Dipuf should always be ahead of him. Still in good shape given Shawcross, Bojan and Diouf have not started together yet this season and all 3 still coming back to fitness. Best yet to come

We knocked a top team out of a cup we would all love to win. Today, we got, by your own admission, a good point. But still not a satisfactory week for you one dip???

Think we missed Diouf today, although Walters did very well. We need pace AND Strength up there. Surprised we haven`t seen Shaq given a few mins in the Bojan role when he comes off, Affelay can play on the right can`t he, And Walters could have dropped back there as well. Don`t think Hughes is using him to his full potential, and it`s predictable for the opposition.

We'll have more creative days and arguably we didn't have the better of 0-0 but that was so, so much solider at the back than the Watford game. Just a good steady away point which tbh looked like what Leslie set up for and no complaints about that.
7 from me

I think sparky should switch arnie and shaq, they both seem to cut in too often and running into trouble, need get down that line and whip one in.

I'd give him a 6.
Our clean sheet was down to Butland, not the defence. I agree that there was more solidity than at Watford, but we were still being broken down and couldn't get it out of our half a lot of the time.
We didn't pose much of a threat going forwards - I think he might have got the selection wrong there. Ireland, Diouf or Afellay could have added some creativity had one of them started, but the tired Arnie, Bojan and Walters all lacked inspiration and were poor frankly.
Still, a clean sheet away from home is always good, which warrants a 6 or more by default.
So 6.
