How do you replace nzonzi, it is not like their are loads of players with is ability available is it. If some people are so worried now he is gone, perhaps they should have kept their mouths shut on match day.

I don't understand this! Huth barely played a game for us in 2 consecutive 9th placed finishes. Not difficult really Ryan played in the majority of those games, Ryan is out we needed a fit Robert Huth to step in so Hughes sold him and replaced him with a player he does not trust to start games why on both counts ? What? Hughes did not trust Huth to start games either..

I think we should get walters back in the team, and make him captain whilst ryan is out.

No struggling to understand what you are getting at, he has replaced a player he did not trust with one he does not trust that would be Yes , given the circumstances and what Bowen stated about what we needed at CB I am pretty sure a fit Robert Huth would be starting the majority of games for us, indeed he is for Leicester who I believe happen to be in a much stronger position than we are at the moment, if he was not there would be a lot of questions as to why not on this board and in general.

Why didn't we need Joselu again? If Diouf got injured, would people really have been happy with three 30-somethings as cover? One who has a dodgy knee and looks 'gone' One who doesn't want to be here One who is a bit part player As Sheiky keeps saying, the concern over a billionaires wallet is mind boggling. We're literally dripping in money, more than enough to sign all the players we need. I don't get what the club are trying to do, other than Bet365 trying to claw back all the money they have invested. I think for sure thats is exactly what is happening Pugs. The accounts will make interesting reading after 4 windows with little spend. In fairness to the board they have not kept it a secret that they want us to become self sufficient.Self Sufficiency for a modest club like us means selling your saleable assets from time to time to balance the books and allow some transfer spend. I find it hard to sync self sufficiency with progress in the Premier League.Maybe Southampton are the model but they have the advantage of a much more mature academy delivering first team players. To me though its a route to becoming a yo yo club dependent on having a saleable asset each year. maybe this is our year on the downslope lets just hope we can hit the brakes very soon.
