No problem at present.
However, we could have a very big one if the next 2 home games don't go to plan.

2 huge games coming up. If we're in the bottom 3 after those then yes we're in trouble. Imo we will get 6 points.

No problem?!
The three teams above us have a game in hand and the team above them is Chelsea.
We can't score, we can't defend set pieces, we get overrun in midfield. No problem

We are used to defeats - that is not the problem.
The problem is the nature of the defeats. We look so physically weak. Even Arsenal were taking liberties.

Have you got this drivel on a permanent cut and paste? You've been saying EXACTLY the same thing for 3 years and you have and will be proved wrong again. Come on mate ffs.

Just on results if you break them down we've got three tough games on paper: Liverpool, and spurs and arsenal away. We pick up a point away at Norwich which is not the easiest place to go. Its the wba game that's done us.

Bit of both. We haven't replaced N'Zonzi and yet we're not using the players who could do a half decent job in that role.
And yes, we've been unlucky. Very unlucky to lose to Liverpool, could have beaten Spurs and Michael Olivier'd against West Brom.
For me, the season has to start next week with 3 points against Leicester.

For me we have to simply get a win next week and ideally the next three home games need to wield a maximum nine.

They always say you should judge the league table after 10 games.
Well, we're half way there and its looking grim.
The way we've played at home against average sides in the past has me incredibly worried about the next 2 home games.

The next two games are big. Honestly if we lose either then I'd say yes we are in trouble, I wouldn't think we will get relegated but I can imagine a bit of a battle. Which can in itself be really satisfying if you make it out of! but I don't fancy taking the risk

We'd need to have an awesome next 5 games to be where we want to be. Given our next two home games are against the sort of teams we've struggled against at home, I am indeed a little worried.

Are you 1 of the types that thinks after a team wins the 1st game they are title contenders regardless? Please think your reply through after seeing Palace sitting in 3rd. 2 wins after today and we could be top 10 already. Calm... down...

That's what Chef Delilah and Davef been saying this last week or so. I think we've got a fookin massive problem actually. The team is unbalanced, lacking in steel in important areas and seemingly now unable to string a series of passes together. Told you so.

I'd get used to looking at the bottom half of the table as we aint any top half team!
I'd be happy to stay up in 17th.

Norwich could easily have been a loss and today could easily have been a mauling
Butland has been outstanding so far and when your keeper is your best player on the pitch week in week out you know that you're in rather deep shit

No problem at present. However, we could have a very big one if the next 2 home games don't go to plan. It'll be harder for us to put things right the longer this goes on. Performances are just as worrying as results a present. But I'm optimistic that there's enough quality in the squad to finish mid table-ish.

It's not the results that worry me it is the performances,90min against a shit Liverpool side one shot on target,Out played for 75min against a Spurs side that's not that good, out played at Norwich if it was not for Jack it would of been a defeat, the first 20 min against WBA we did not look like we were going to break them down, the sending off helped us in a strange way the crowd lifted the team befor that it was like a funeral parlour .And today we could of conceded 8 against a team that has not scored in 5 of its 6 games.

Watched 2nd half on some weird feed that kept buffering but with UK commentary. OK Ars were better than us (as if they wern't at home) but for a couple of periods we had them defending (not quite panicking) but for F sake if we went at them and again and again with PASSION then maybe just maybe we could have scored. Same old shit Arne gets an elbow not even a fkg yellow, I am sure there are 2 leagues in the Prem and we aint in the in the 'upper class' one. Still dont panic, cant ever remember us being bottom but hopefully not for long. Oh and PS Shawcross would have stopped the 2nd no fear!!!

Milan - take your point but the performances worry me. We created little against Liverpool. We were woeful today and at Luton. We were mediocre for 65 minutes against Norwich and we were unfortunate against West Brom.
For all the flair players we have what did we create against Liverpool, Arsenal, Norwich and Luton?
The defence is a complete shambles and we look as though we lack fitness and fight. If we are to make the next step up I Would have thought the management would look to improve on two things quite quickly.
1. Be better organised in defence - we conceded too many from set pieces last season and look to have learned nothing.
2. We started very slowly last season and are even worse at the start of this season. Do we just assume that a slow start means we'll be stronger later in the season? Is that what QPR assumed?
I agree it's too early to write us off as relegation certainties but it's surely not too early to be concerned.

We did not play as a cohesive unit today. Giving the ball away very cheaply, poor first touch and control, not knowing each others' game ... This undoubtedly affects confidence. As people have said, next couple of games are massive. Having said that, it's not the time to panic!
