A fair point but a touch harsh on Cameron in my opinion. Him and Wilson are very close but I just about prefer Wilson

I just think he's perfect for the midfield role next to Glen, and Wilson is honestly ok at centre half.

Pejic loves to have a little dig, now he's a pensioner who thinks he knows it all about modern day football. He doesn't!

I think move Cam into Midfield, drop MVG and move Marc Wilson into defence.
I think Cam would be very good in that position given the time

Wilson is guilty of getting caught in exactly the same way as Cameron did, I'm fairly comfortable with either really they will make the odd mistake but they're good solid defenders in the main....

Yes if you trawl back through some of his suggestions, they are quite honestly a bit crazy, I am sure I read something about how we should play 3 at the back and all this kind of stuff, struggling to remember to be honest
All well and good with these kind of suggestions, but you have to train for it first, when ever I see a Pejic suggestion I immediately think "this is going to be a bit leftfield"

I prefer Geoff at CB.
Wilson scares the absolute shit out of me anytime he goes near a football pitch.
I keep thinking that he's going to slice a clearance and then the stadium will collapse and the earth will be swallowed by a black hole.

Cameron, along with a few others were partly to blame for the goal on Saturday, although with 9 men on the field, I don't think it's fair to point fingers.
As for Wilson being fantastic, he was thoroughly rinsed at Luton. Flat footed? More like concrete blocks under his feet.

Cameron is one of those players who always has a major mistake a game in him. For all he does that's great he's an accident waiting to happen.

Sounds a bit like John Stones and he's worth £35m apparently I believe there was some kind of study (I used the word losely), analysing thousands of goals scored and something like 80% of them it can be argued were caused by some kind of defensive error. This is why I zone out of the Bayern like comments about players making mistakes.

Pejic! great sportsman, fantastic defender, excellent reputation as a coach but a failed Manager. Stoke were playing with nine men on Saturday and Pejic was slating everyone on the radio. Here he is again slating Cameron. Nine against eleven for sixty minutes and we only concede one goal and manage to take the game to West Brom. When I hear so called "Stoke supporters" having a go at Stoke it makes me cringe. Cameron was a hero on Saturday and so were the other eight players!

Some ridiculous comments on this thread. Mike Pejic was one of the best full backs of his generation. He's forgotten more about football than most on here can ever hope to know. He is also a genuine Stoke City legend who cares about our football club.
Tremendous competitor. Maybe he handballed on the line in that match. It saves a goal and gives the keeper a half chance of saving a pen. I notice nobody mentioned the superbly timed tackle on George Best as he was running into the penalty area just before the handball incident.
He is now paid to work in the media. He is going to write interesting, thought provoking and sometimes controversial pieces because that is what sells.
He tells it how he thinks and has been there, done it and seen it at the highest level. I for one would have thought his thoughts have a touch more credibility than us mere spectators.
Seems like a case of those who can, did it, and those of us who can't have a go from the sanctuary of our key boards. I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of years ago. He's hardly changed, and I'm pretty sure those of you who are prepared to criticise him with anonymity wouldn't have the balls to tell him he's an idiot to his face.

I think Cameron is a better player full stop. Wilson has a shit beard, too, which must be factored into the equation.

I don't think any blame can be pointed at Cameron. The ball in was decent, and Rondon only got to the ball first as he is lightening quick, does not matter what defender you put in that situation the outcome would of been the same. To say Geoff cannot read the ball is almost comical as the major part of Geoff's game is just that and intercepting the ball before the danger starts, unfortunately on this occasion he was beaten by a good ball and a fast strong player. As for Marc Wilson for 99% of a game he is a solid defender not spectacular but worthy of his place in the team, it's that other 1% where you can guarantee he will make a mistake, and most of the time the opposition capitalise on it making the mistake seem worse than it was
