Some of them saves on the video are just out of this world, just goes to show sometimes we take players for granted and don't appreciate how good they really are.

He seems to have dropped out of the transfer talk lately, i would suggest to him to sign a new contract which can only be good for him and us

I think he will leave this summer for around £10M!

He should go his summer so we at least get some transfer fee for him (hopefully £8-10m) rather than let him leave for free next summer. I can't see any way that Bego wants to sign a new contract with us, so hopefully he will go to Roma or somewhere else abroad and have the chance to play CL. Plus I think Jack is now ready to step up to be the number 1 keeper.

I like Bego he is a good keeper and a very decent human being...however methinks he overestimates his ability in the pecking order of top keepers. The likelihood of a club nailed on for the champions league coming in for him(Celtic apart) is only 50/50 and who wants to play in the SPL just to get CL nogger? He will sign a new deal ..thats my prediction. The other reason is ..his missis..settled with her horses and pushing for Olympic selection she won't want to up sticks now. We hope. United or Liverpool would mean he could stay local?

Reminder of despite having a "bad" season, Bego has still been brilliant last season Unfortunately his costly errors have vastly outweighed some of those great saves so you cannot really say he has been brilliant.

His errors haven't outweighed the points he has saved us, let alone 'vastly' don't take the piss. Bego hasn't been on the same unbelievable form he was on the previous 2 seasons but he's still one of the best keepers in the league

MailSportsmail has been told Chelsea are ‘pushing hard’ to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic before they allow Cech to join their London rivals for £11million. Begovic, rated at £10.5m with one year left on his contract at Stoke, is their preferred option but Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Robert Green is another candidate.

Green probably happier to be no 2.

He'd be mad if he went there....... If he does go I just hope its somewhere abroad. If he does however end up still in the Premiership, whats the betting when Diouf dribbles a pea roller of a shot along the floor, it 'slips' through his hands Bego is a Stokie, Bego is a Stokie na na na na, na na na na !!!

Yeah - Can't see the Chelsea thing, although you never know if the stories about being the main Cup keeper, early Champions League and £60k+-a-week is on the table? He could end up with winners medals. I'm sure he'll go somewhere, but just wonder what we'd do now if he did agree to re-sign. There's no chance we could keep Butland happy as No.2 now.

God please don't be tempted by the millions and waste your best years on the bench at Chelsea Bego

Would have been very unhappy if he had left last year, but Butland has done a good job and will improve with game time. As long as we get a decent fee he goes with my best wishes (not that he needs them)

Didn't beggo turn down Chelsea when he joined us? I fully expect him to go but the he seems an intelligent guy and will surely join a club where he won't be sitting on the bench week in week out?

Could strike a deal with games involved, let's say a minimum of 10 league games, all domestic cup games and at least a couple of Champions League games too! But what do I know? Nothing of course!

No, he turned down the chance to join Spurs when he joined us. Then, some time later (a few months or a year?) we refused to let him join Chelsea after they offered us only about £1 million more than we paid for him. That was when he refused to play in a Cup game (against Shrewsbury?)

Bego was excellent for us in both games v Chelsea and I'm sure JM was impressed
When he joined us he was no 2 to Tommy and eventually secured the no 1 spot where he has improved and been a vital part of our success / progression.
Butland will do the same should Bego move.
I'd be surprised if its Chelsea unless Courtois is leaving ???? just hope it isn't Arsenal or Liverpool.
Roma? Will the family want to uproot?
