Do you agree that it was a penalty?. No I don't, it was a yellow card and an indirect free-kick. It's a mans game to be played like men. You can show as many images as you like but watch it in real time and you'll see that it in no way impeded Moses. Moses has thrown himself to the ground If that has been given against us we'd be going mental. And we also saw in the game what happens when you don't go down. Nothing given.

I seem to recall a few years back, a Blackpool player saying they had a meeting with Howard Webb before the season started where they were advised to go down if they felt they had been fouled. I'm not sure if that advice is still given to players?

Moses was travelling, at pace so how can you KNOW that for sure? As an adult male of a similar age to Moses, I can clarify that men in their mid 20s don't fall over with such minimal contact. A tug may cause us to slow down but generally speaking it never affects out knees. If you have any other questions regarding mid 20s adult males then I'm happy to try and answer Thanks for that mate, it's all much clearer now. However, as a 58 year old fella who was actually once 20 and played representative football all my 'sports active' life I can assure you that all situations are different. You can stay on your feet with the sturdiest of challenges depending on your own velocity and the positioning of your feet and you can be taken off your feet by the weakest of touches in differing circumstances. I think Moses dived but it's impossible to say the tug on his shirt didn't cause him to fall with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY. Opinions are fine.......just so long as they are presented as opinions and not FACTS. As has been stated by several posters, Moses WAS fouled. Now maybe he dived but he WAS fouled in the penalty area and it WAS a penalty.

This.. you see it time and time again in the game that fouls are committed in the box yet nothing is given as the player doesn't go to ground. There is clear evidence of both contact and Rangel holding his shirt. Therefore its a foul and a penalty. This is hardly an Ashley Young moment where he dived over thin air... there is contact. Did he go down easy... yes... was it still a penno... yes...

Yeah, maybe if we play the game like men and are 100% honest the media will like us for it and pat us on the head when we get relegated. Fuck what the media think, I'd like us to play proper football without trying to cheat because it's the right thing to do. When it comes to yesterday, it's a bit blurrier. Shawcross should be less grabby, but everyone does it and it's annoying when you're the one who gets called out. There was a very slight tug on Moses so you could give the penalty. I'd be embarrassed to go down like that though. I think both were penalties, but I agree both Bony and Moses could have stayed on their feet if they wanted. I have seen much more blatant dives than either incident, though. Lampard did a swallow dive on Saturday that was far worse than either. I agree cheating and diving is killing the game; my problem is that it is suddenly an issue when it involves a Stoke player.
