I'm not a Tory supporter but I have to say that Baroness Warsi has resigned from the government due to her views on the Gaza crises and the governments failures in this area.......At last a government rep with morales refreshing to see.

Blood is thicker than water. The first Muslim cabinet minister . No surprises there then . Enough said. Your arguments mean nothing, your contradictions and attitude deserve nothing but contempt. If the above reasons help you to make sense of current events then you really should have a word with yourself.

not one jew has blown themselves up in a german restaurant not one jew has destroyed a church of another faith ONLY muslims defend their beliefs by killing people, burning churches, destroying embassies, persecution of other faiths... even there own people.. by any means there have been many threads on here condemning muslim evil actions - this is no different (im not jewish) Can I just say my opinion of you hasn't changed and I take offense to being called ignoramus. neither has mine of you

They do see where theyre being launched from. Theyre being fired from residential areas and stored in schools, hospitals and anywhere where plenty of civilians are. Not to justify the intensity of the bombing, but Israel arent targeting all those places for fun. Israel is not interested in defeating Hamas - it serves them too well. If they were, they would send in covert special forces on the ground to take out the leadership, they know where they are. Genocide is their mission. They could, but then countless more Israelis may die than if they just bombard them from afar. For all the arguments for or against what they're currently doing, expecting them to do that is unrealistic. In their eyes, one of their own citizens is worth a thousand of another country's.

It's up to her. I have no interest in her , her politics or religion. But you do have an interest in Israel and Gaza, quite clearly demonstrated in this thread. Therefore you must have an opinion on what she said whilst she was in the cabinet of this country's government and was acting on yours and my behalf when she was making these comments. She wasn't acting on our behalf though, she wasn't voting on acts or legislation or deciding policy. She's left on morale grounds, the same person who was removed as party co chairman owing to claiming thousands of pounds in lodging allowance when staying with a friend

Just google and check back in the news and see how many hamas leaders they have targeted and killed, they do target and kill them, but somebody always steps up and takes over, the rockets are still being fired, both sides don't seem to care for the civilians. Correction. CLAIMED to have targeted Hamas leaders. Nevertheless, back to my point. Hamas is an Israeli created and controlled asset. Who does the firing of firework rockets serve? Sheik Ahmed Yassin murdered, yasser arafat poisoned for a start? It doesn't serve anybody, only Hamas's objections to Israel and their occupation of what they perceive as their land, I'm not saying who's land it is as people can look back hundreds of years and try and claim land somewhere around the world

If the above reasons help you to make sense of current events then you really should have a word with yourself. Well thank you for your pearls of wisdom . There are many in contradictions in life ...like being devoted to your chosen faith and murdering the fuck out of others from a different one. You see when I see such arrogant remarks Iike this , I find them equally comptemptable and exasperating . My attitude is one of 'you can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink.' The analogy being that both sides are only intent on thing ....killing one another. The fact that Israel has better weaponry has fuck all to do with the intent ....just more body bags needed in Gaza. I personally don't think that we or America should get involved in any talks or arbitration so as not to be accused of being biased in any way. Apart from all that ....I don't know any Jews , any Palestines or anyone else in the area and have no interest or connection whatsoever. The only foreigners I know personally are extended members of my family in Australia. It may ease some of the pent up anger and frustration I can feel bursting through my screen.... ......But I love you all....and I am unanimous. Mumf cultural ambassador for Fegg Hays and Brindley ford.

Glad you can laugh at the fact you have shown yourself up though, especially on a thread discussing the death of so many children and civilians. The more the monkey climbs the tree eh.

And ?
She chose to leave on moral grounds believing that the stance and language the government was using was wrong.
That is her choice based on her religious beliefs and that of her brethren .....blood is thicker than water.
She was the first Muslim cabinet member and I repeat ...no surprise that she did what she did..
Admirable in one sense , idiotic in another . It achieved nothing.
Edit ....personally I couldn't give a flying toss what she did. It's up to her....

It would seem they learned a lot. except the futility of it , it seems Worked rather well in the second world war. Inaccuracy of the bombs wasnt the only reason we razed entire cities to the ground. Its a tactic to reduce civilian morale and wane their support for in this case Hamas. There's a huge difference in how a conflict plays out when its protecting your own existence vs. stationing troops in some far away land.

I'm not Muslim and if I was her I would have resigned on exactly the same basis, as it appears would a fair few people on here. I fail to see how taking a stance based on your beliefs, be they religious or otherwise, can be deemed 'idiotic'. I also see Cameron has expressed his 'concerns' about the number of Palestinian civilians being slaughtered... dare I suggested that if 500+ Israeli civilians had been butchered, we would already have been dragged along by our friends over the Atlantic to get involved.

Idiotic because she won't have a job anymore and has altered nothing.
I certainly won't be grieving over her departure.

Enjoy your more important things to do but do try and keep the casual racism down a bit. No need to "porn scorn"............ Clear as day.
