We'll be lucky to take a 1000 mate and be careful because Jarhead will be on in a minute slagging you and me off for daring to comment.

Never known so many people not interested.? How many seasons are we just going to struggle to stay up,play weekend teams in cups, we are stagnating and not moving forward. in my opinion, Mr Coates is quite happy to run stoke as a business. 70 to 80 million a season to stay up.very interesting how Mr pulis is playing his team Now ? Was he told to play so defensive by Mr Coates ?Just to stay in the premier ?but we definitely going nowhere fast ?

According to some geniuses on here , our away attendances are down because of the free travel.

Perhaps we should give medals to all those that go? What about knighthoods?
It's too dear and the novelty has worn off, plus we'll get beat. The club doesn't give a shit about its supporters, why should the fans?

H Ive only used it myself for the local games utd, everton, liverpool, as I take my lad to these games but anything further iits on train , with the lads on the piss .match puts a damper on most games, but we always have a good time.been most games this season , missed about 3 an the away followings have been as poor as ive ever known!

Its because we rarely win a game.People are just fed up.
I can go on the piss with my mates anywhere without paying 37 quid.
Free travel wouldnt entertain it anyway.

Free travel was a piss easy option for the club - each PL club were made to set aside a couple of hundred thousand quid and come up with ways to contribute to away travel. I've used the Coaches once this season - NEVER EVER AGAIN.

If you think it's good value and you can comfortably justify and afford it then fair enough, but don't knock those that can't or don't.

The club has received 200 thousand, to improve the away day experience for the away fan.this is the official wording. the club took it upon themselves to use it for free away travel. Surely we not going to use it all,so what happens to the rest of the allowance ? And surely we should have had a say on how the grant could improve the away day experience ? I keep saying it but the fairest way to allocate the money is to nock money off every adult away tickets ? Those who prefer free travel are being selfish. because money off tickets, everyone gains.

I'll be honest, the missus and I would go to about 11-15 away games, we'd always make a point of making sure we'd go to any ground we haven't been before and we'd either drive or take the train. Been on club coaches a couple of times and wont use them again.
We just got fed up spunking away our money on watching us sit back trying to draw 0-0, we weren't having fun and if it's not fun, then why bother? Football away from home has become a chore, I can take the beatings, had enough of them over the years, it's the not trying to win I can't take, knowing we're going sit back, close ranks, make it hard for them break us down before we even get there is what loses my enthusiasm to go.
I could use the excuse to say its too expensive, which it is but when I was enjoying going away, I'd always find a way of going, it wasn't about how much it was costing, it was making sure I was there to cheer on the team. Once it stopped being fun, my head took over from my heart.
Anyone who knows me knows I love away days a lot more than home games. If they had a choice of a home season ticket or an away one, I'd have always paid for the away one. But the fun and adventure has been killed for me, if ever I find it again I'll be back travelling up and down the country.
