Anyway, more to the point - any chance you could help that fellow wankstain of yours RAF out as it seems Sheps had him for fcuking dinner?.

Superb opening post by ted. I agree with it all. Hopefully the opposition manager will not be getting any encouragement from the Stoke supporters when we play Manchester United!!! I can just about understand that some fans wanted to cheer Pulis BEFORE the kick off as a way of thanking him for past work - for which he was very well paid. However, calling to him during the game with words of encouragement, and cheering him at the end of a game that Stoke have lost is beyond my comprehension.

"I'm glad Stoke lost to Palace today, in Pulis we trust." Followed by a photo of his man crush, with more "In Pulis we trust." His cover picture's Jon Walters, but I can forgive that. Tazi could send him a friend request... Well that is bizarre if true. Are you sure he calls himself a Stoke fan? Not seen that kind of thing from anyone on here..

I guess you'll just have to take my word for it saying as I obviously won't be divulging his name and don't see the point in making it up (especially as I don't even know if he posts on here). But yes, I found it as bizarre as you that's why I had to question him as to whether he was being jocular or not.

I'm here, and he didn't have anyone for breakfast. His original post indicated that there were no Stoke fans that would want Pulis to have one over on Stoke. I disagreed , told him what had happened at the match on Saturday, he ignored that. Now down to you, I'm sure I can't find a direct ' I want Pulis's Palace to beat Stoke' quote, however it doesn't take a fucking genius to pick up on your delight in putting your own team down and when Palace are winning. I could also point out that there is probably more evidence about how you think in your original account, but as you were banned and sneaked back with another account and the subsequent one deleted we will have to let that lie. The Void has also posted that he has seen the same kind of stuff elsewhere, which funnily enough Shep finds difficult to believe. I can understand that in a way, as you have to wonder what kind of slimy cunter would want their team to fail in favour of an ex manager? It does defy comprehension. You only have to look at the University Challenge thread to see I'm not the only poster who has got your number. I'll leave you with this, Jimmy Saville was never directly quoted as saying 'Yes I did it', look how that turned out. ;) H

Fucking hell Colonel, we have already established from the rimmers that the Oatcake only represents 0.0002% of the Stoke support. However you might want to have a word with the group of about 40-50 who were at the match on Saturday who were singing 'Tony give us a wave' on about 40 minutes. Then were beckoning him over at the final whistle and waving to him. You see they exist, just not very nice to think about it which is why some people deny it's happening at all. Not to mention the back slapping and general joviality that 'Pulis had done Hughes like a kipper' Each to their own I suppose. H

I do find it hard to believe people spend the money and time to go to see Stoke if they want us to lose. Having low expectations and making a day is one thing, that's pretty much called being a Stoke away fan. In fact I find a well oiled and jocular feel at a lot of away losses. But being happy we lost? It's just very hard to believe. I guess there could be some Stoke fans so unenamored by Hughes that any evidence of his incompetence is highlighted. But we've seen that with every manager. Even successful ones.

I think Ted summed things up well. Yes, we need that striker, but we need to address the defensive lapses. We have the 6th worst goal difference in the league. We appear to be looking at Hutton, if we got him it would free Cameron up to play in midfield, if we cannot get another midfielder. Sunderland games is crucial. We need to get goals plus on the board. It may come down to that at the end of the season

I don't believe you think those behaving like that were of that mind. As unpopular as it may have been with sections of the support maybe there are very few (and I mean a car full) who believe that could or should happen. And even less that would be happy for us to fail to bring it about. Thats not to say the 'I told you so's won't fly should we come a cropper of course. Different thing all together.

Whilst what you say a few people were doing at the match is slightly weird, it certainly doesn't mean any of them actually wanted us to lose and Palace to win. I'm still slightly confused as to why you think people chanting Pulis' name would necessarily imply that.

As for the comments made after the match, that's just as bizarre as what TheVoid claims someone put on facebook. I can't imagine there's more than a handful of people who think that way though seeing as nobody has ever posted comments like that on here where you seem to get the most extreme views.

If you're after something close to what TP really thinks about SCFC, then maybe you should look no further than Dave Kemp's "Real Madrid" comments last week. If Kemp's coming out with that, then you can be sure they've both discussed something similar in private.
It's not a big deal though. The club sacked him, he's clearly got little time for Mark Hughes, and if that's what he thinks then it's nothing to start crying about.
He probably did truly appreciate the banners and other support he got last week, but let's not pretend he's not bitter about losing his job or that he wishes good things for us. He's the Crystal Palace manager and all his energies will be focused on succeeding in that job.
Time to move on.

Kemp said: "I know the shape of the football club when we started there and the shape we left behind - there should be a statue of Tony on Stoke-on-Trent to recognise what he did for them. He did a huge amount for the city.
"You can go anywhere in the world now and see people wearing Stoke shirts. That's because of being in the Premier League.
"We took the club so quickly from the lower half of the Championship into the Premier League. When that first happens then everyone's attitude is that they could all die happy after one season in there.
"Once you have established yourself, reached a cup final, got into Europe and are beating some bigger teams then people forget where they have come from. They have an ambition to move on - which is fantastic - but you need to be realistic.
"Stoke was a fabulous time. I thoroughly enjoyed it and want to wish them all the best for the future. I look back with pride on my part in it as well.
"I've heard a lot that they play like Real Madrid but I haven't quite seen that yet. But I don't follow them as closely. Now I follow Crystal Palace - that's what happens in professional football. When I'm at a club I'm 100 per cent committed. When you leave one you still have an interest because they have been your team, but it's not the same
I don't see to much wrong with what he said here. One of the saddest things I've seen since Saturday's game is some fans celebrating our record amount of possession in a Premier League game. Apparently being utterly abysmal with that possession is irrelevant. I never thought I'd see the day I saw Stoke fans swallowing that bollocks.

He's the only manager in the 150 year history of the club to win a European tie. Qualifying by getting into the final of the main domestic cup competition (something else he is the only manager in the 150 year history of the club) is hardly getting in via the fair fucking play system is it!
