As I said at the end of last season Pulis is indeed leaving, been told it will be announced at Spurs game if we are safe. As a few have said massive changes next season in every department.

I'm not letting myself believe any of this, I honestly believed he might be sacked after the Villa game, and I can't deal with that level of disappointment again.

I don't know as I like the sound of massive changes... Sounds like, be prepared for relegation! How about 3-4 changes and a nice big war chest for whoever's driving the plane

Kitkatkev, who "told" you that Pulis is leaving and it will be announced at the Spurs game and why would they tell you?
And further how did you know "at the end of last season" that Pulis is leaving?
Based on those 2 statements I'm not really sure what you are implying is to the reason for TP's imminent departure. Are you saying TP is leaving at the end of this season because that was always the plan at the end of last season or is it down to the poor 2nd half of this season?
It has to be the first of those doesn't it, the structured departure planned at the end of last season? Because were it the 2nd then your premonition at the end of last season wouldn't mean anything - we all know the manager is leaving one day, it's a bit like death, it comes to us all.
I guess in the end what I am saying is I'm not convinced at all by your OP.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure a small number of posters (including, I think, kkk) did say last Spring or Summer that the current season would be TP's last. If he is leaving "by agreement" then the Spurs game (if safe) would be the obvious time to announce it. It is the day all the players and manager parade round the pitch so it is as good a day as any to say goodbye to a manager.

Off to the states I'd heard
He SHOULD now leave but I truly hope it is under happy(ish) circumstances and of his own volition. He deserves a dignified exit

If the starter of this thread has heard this from an official source, that's o.k. If they haven't it's a stupid and attention seeking post.

PLIBT.
Be a good way to kick-off the anniversary celebrations, with a shot in the arm like that.
He really has to go, relegation or no relegation. The last 18 months have been soul-destroying.

A manager leaving being announced at the match that we're celebrating 150 years. Sounds a load of bollocks I mean a bit far fetched to me.

Indeed I did I posted about the meeting the club had and a change of style agreed as well as this would be the last year for TP

I can't see it being announced during a game if it's true. Surely they'd wait until the end of the season?
Also if they know he's leaving within the next month then they should already have his replacement lined up

Whether it will happen or not, time will tell. I believe he will be off after these 4 games.

Also if they know he's leaving within the next month then they should already have his replacement lined up In a sense the Spurs game is the end of the season for many fans. It is the last home game and (assuming we were safe) it would make more sense to announce it at the end of the Spurs game than it would after the game at Southampton.

I could buy them announcing it in the run up to the game, if we're safe, just about but at the game?! That's never happened before surely?
"We'll be with you, Thanks for your support, happy birthday to us, Tones going"
Sounds nonsense to me.

I can't see it being announced during a game if it's true. During the game would be fucking brilliant. TANNOY: "Would a Mr Smith please come to the main reception to collect your soon. Oh, and also this is the last game for Pulis."

I like the sound of that.
I wonder if he would go 4-3-3, all out, roll-the-dice mental at St Mary's to end his reign in style.
A barnstorming, end to end 5-5 would be a great way to go.
Go on Tone, just do eet...
