It really is a massive gamble.
I'm not really sure how some people have earned the wealth to be running football clubs who make such seat of the pants decisions.
Fair play to them though if it comes off.

Fair play to them though if it comes off. Sacking O'Neill was a cracking decision but appointing Di Canio seems mental. But maybe as a short term pick me up he could be ideal to gee them up? Time will tell.

Fair play to them though if it comes off. Exactly, anyone would think it was them owned by an online betting company! Personally as much as I believe Di Canio will go on to be a very decent manager; I reckon it'll all end in tears on Wearside.

Are Sunderland tired of watching the Geordie sideshow up the road?
They obviously want attention....this will get them that!!

The bloke is a bellend.
He might lift the morale of the players, and probably the fans, just about long enough to keep them up.
Next season he will send them down.
If he winds up Blunderland fans in the way he did at Swindon then it will get a bit nasty methinks.

They will either win all their remaining games or lose them all emphatically
No in-betweens with DiCanio
That is a massive gamble
If he turns it around, albeit temporarily, we are in big trouble

www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=769767"Get him to watch the mags game from our away end and he can lob the tactics about using a fuck off megaphone.
Then when we lose he can lob a scooter down into the scum fans!"
He's pretty much nailed it there.

Apologies
What I meant to say was Sunderland had nothing to lose like us they are down if something doesn't change and they have been brave enough to try . Equally if he fails he is a decent choice to brig them back . Clever type of appointment whether or not he is the right man .
Let's hope we have the courage of convictions tomorrow to make a change to stay as we are is the last 18 months show going to see a spectacular £100 million implosion into the championship actualising huge losses on crouch , palacios , etc and the loss of the real talent begovic, Huth , shawcross Wilson , a truly awful legacy for TP TP leave

Lost in just help me with the continuos success over the last 18 months , before you knock your own head off There hasn't been 18 months continuous success. That would be as silly a thing to say as going on about TP leaving a 'terrible legacy,' which is the sort of 'Pulis is Guilty of Everything' hysteria that is turning our support into a joke. And I don't know where my head's gone, it rolled off and Whelan passed it somewhere or other, fuck knows where.

I understand about whelans passing and your head i was merely suggesting if we do go Down lose money on ageing big buys and let real talent go cheaply it would be a very unfortunate end and we should do everything we can to protect the man himself from it
