The quote by the Sunderland CEO is quite funny. She's getting upset because people are accusing him of having Fascist sympathies. He's admitted being a Fascist on many occasions. Are we supposed to deny this? She's talking a load of Goebbels. I see the well hasn't quite run dry on the puns yet then Bayern Pace yourself man, you've got til May ???

Mr desire to see nqsdiscopants back on here with his own special brand of delusional arrogance and trying-to-take-the-moral-high-ground is tempered only by the fact that he only normally posts when Sunderland are above us in the league or if they've just beaten us.

Just seen some of DiCanio's antics on the news.
Would love to see him try and kick Lee Cattermole up the arse as he walks off the pitch.

Just listening to him on sky sports. He's very confident isn't he. Does anyone think that will rub off on the Sunderland players? Our trip to the Stadium of Light will be very interesting.

He talks a very good game.
As I posted earlier in this thread I think, he will be either be a rip roaring success or an unmitigated disaster. I get the feeling that there won't be any middle ground.
I am inclined to think he will do very well.

I am inclined to think he will do very well. I think he will as well. Certainly for the short interim period. He seems infectious and I believe Sunderland will not go down this season. On the flip side somewhere down the line he will losse the plot!

Good news for Villa - who through lack of experience and leadership on the field were my favourites to fill the 3rd relegation slot after Reading and QPR.
Reading aren't good enough, QPR should go down for the circus that the club is and tbh I do actually think that when you look at relative size of clubs, amount spent etc that either Sunderland or us DESERVE to go down with them considering how abysmal we are.
I thought that O'Neill was a spent force and any manager who kept selecting Titus Bramble deserved the sack. But to replace him with Il Wanko himself, Di Canio, is a real gamble. I think Di Canio has more of a future as being the next Berlusconi than becoming a top class Premiership manager!
At least we are now certainly safe for this season.
