Started 57+? Premier League games now IN A ROW for Stoke City scoring a grand total of 12 goals? and 4/5 of them have been penalty's.
I wonder when Pulis will drop this poor excuse of a footballer?
Really what does he offer? other than a high energy level?
No wonder we are always bottom of the goals scored table, £100m+ spent and still plays a League One player EVERY GAME without fail.
No wonder other players sit on the bench pissed off, because no matter what they do they wont get picked.

I think even if someone gave you a full explanation of his role and what he brings to the team you would not be satisfied.

I see it week in week out, he makes no assists and offers nothing on the wing, and he his even worse upfront.

2 assists and 2 goals this season. Not too bad for a winger.

The biggest role he has played so far is to miss gae changing chances agiasnt Arsenal at the end , Chelsea and again on Saturday , he can run and run and run and be the best bloke ever but we simply cant afford a player who simply isn't good enough at this level when you have to take your chances . Jones a non penalty taker has a far better rate and never deserved to be dropped so try teaching him to run around its easily learnt as 57 continous games shows learning to take key chances isn't Try jerome if you don't like jones he can run and scores at a far better ratio than walters after all somebody thought they were worth £12million fairly recently.

2 assists for Crouch. Wigan away and Swansea at home.

Walters gives 100% week in week out, 1 think he is not is a useless excuse for a footballer. I like him, his attitude and what he does for the club.

Love to see Walters start on Sat in midfield, with both Crouchy & Owen up front.
However, the chances of that happening = Nil

He's not in the team to score goals, even less so this season playing on the wing, forgetting all that as you seem to do so easily, hes been playing well on the whole so far this season and there's no reason to drop him.
Which players have been getting pissed off btw?

going to be honest, i was pretty annoyed back end of last season with his poor form, but you cant really say he has been bad at the start of this season. I'd go as far as saying he was one of our best players in a fair few of the games so far. New season has brought a new SJW in my view

Hes not in the team over Jerome, and there's other reasons Pennant is not getting a game as well as when he was given a chance this season he was very poor. I haven't read anywhere about them being pissed off though.

I've made my mind up - don't confuse me with the facts. Walters and Shawcross - first two names on the teamsheet every week. And rightly so!

For me JW could be justified when we played 2 out & out wingers, to provide the extra man in midfield. There is no need to play him every week now we play with 3 in midfield, one of those being the very defensively astute N`Zonzi! We must be the only team in the division to employ a defensive forward, yes he works hard but offers no goalscoring or creative prowess at all.

Now i understand, i am but a mere mortal who doesn't really understand football at all, thanks for setting me straight, all these years when i thought i had a right to an opinion & it turns out i am just a bit deluded!

So who is in the team to score goals??? Mainly Crouch and from some comments I've seen from TP Kightly, with Owen and KJ as back up. Wait.. Don't Kightly and Walters place in the same position either side of Crouch? Surely if Kightly is in the team to score goals, then the same can be said for Walters, a job he isn't doing very well. I appreciate what he does for the team with all the mileage he puts in, but bar a run of 3/4 months in 2011, he's been a championship player in a premier league team.

I'm going off what TP has said with regards to Kightly helping out with goals, personally I think he will get a few but mostly Crouch will be the goal scorer. I'm not saying Walters is amazing but I do think he's lower Prem class and that is were we are at the min also I think hes been playing well enough to keep his place as it stands.

I would not say he is a poor excuse for a footballer, but Iwould say these days he cant hit a cows arse with a banjo
and as he's 'muscled up' some more, he's also lost a couple of yards of pace too
