No reason why we shouldnt fill atleast one corner in, joining the boothen and the john smiths or the one by the screen. This season we would fill it out maybe 7 or 8 times in the league, and should do for every europa league game we play as well

It's about time we filled one corner in, The fa cup money would pay for that.

With this silly Europa League & the extra games it will bring (hopefully not too many), perhaps there is a realisation that we need to splash out on better players to strengthen the squad.

This has to be short sighted lunacy.
The Directors at Stoke and Wolves are very close, but their aspirations for the club's premises are poles apart.
All i'd say is, try to secure two or three adjoining seats, to accommodate frields and visitors, for most home matches and you're struggling!

Not yet had time to read all of this thread but want to assure the poster who mentioned FSF, that Federation does not and should not tell clubs what to do with their stadia, unless its about safety or other such important matters which are of significence to all.
I think the intended organisation was FF, Fans' Forum?
Re an added corner, it seems that most would want one but that they appreciate that there are presently other priorities. Perhaps next season, but only if that extra 500 or so can be dragged from their sofa, when the club is (too often) on television?
Meanwhile, some thought should be given as to what could be done with any untaken extra seats, should we start filing in that corner. Leaving them empty would be of no use to anyone and there must be many children whose parents cannot afford to let them attend or maybe are disabled/'inside'/whatever and their children are denied such a chance.
One simple idea would be to have a competition (encouraged by schools/Sentinel/youth club,) open to any youngsters who have never seen us play for any number of reasons. Perhaps an essay or poem about why they would be keen to come to the Brit, judged for emphasis on the passion, rather than its literary merit.
And how about finding out some of the problems re. non-attendance, apart from money? There would be some real tear-jerkers, I'm sure. Another great opportunity to win over supporters of the future, maybe?

Another great opportunity to win over supporters of the future, maybe? You are right - I had misread the article. In my befuddled state, I had reached the implausible conclusion that the FSF had "local" representation. But it is indeed the Fans' Forum, and the chap quoted in the article is the chairman. I have looked (very quickly) on the FF website and it looks to be simply another Forum. My wider point was whether (and if so, how) SCFC fans get an opportunity to engage with the club on this (and other) issues. The answer to that may well be "they don't".

Use funds now to develop the squad ready for August, then plan to fill in Seddon-South corner as soon as 2011/12 season finishes.

Talking to a mate at work whos a Baggies fan, apparently they are planning to fill their corners in too. He reckons the fans consensus is that they hate those big wind breaks they've currently got and cant wait to get the corners developed.

Would you lot fill it though, reckon you;re already at your limit, you'd only fill it when we or Liverpool came to town, would'nt be worth it in the long run, you'd end up like Boro.
